So far i like it, with Covid i haven't been ablr to get out to do my review but i think will be perfect for a 1 or 2 day ventures for sure very durable and the side gear pockets are a must

You said you carry and that it doesn't impede your ability to draw your weapon. Where exactly do you carry at? Waist or do you leave it in the bag?
@gagetman69jeffhebert324 жыл бұрын
as log as i don't add a pouch on my carry side when i have my belt holster on , it doesn't impede my ability to draw. Thx for commenting

I've been looking for this myself and found it on their own website www.fjallraven.com/us/en-us/bags-gear/backpacks-bags/trekking-backpacks/singi-stubben $250 US just haven't decided to purchase yet...I just wanted to know if it is heavy with that built-in seat? And from the looks of it...the space inside looks limited or is there plenty of room/pockets in there?
@gagetman69jeffhebert324 жыл бұрын
there are no pockets on the inside , and the outer pockets are separate. great for a day hike and or for a minimalist hunting bush craft bag.
@AwakenUniverse4 жыл бұрын
@@gagetman69jeffhebert32 really? Oh man but at least space in there right? Yes I realized the side pockets are another purchase which makes this even more pricey...but the quality is there and I know because I purchased the yupik parka from this company...it has held up from a year ago...so yeah I'm going to think about it and look around to compare others...anyways thanks for your help...stay strong out there brother.

@@AwakenUniverse Thx for watching , as far as a hike in the woods for a day and or a hunt and having the right tools and equipment its perfect for me . I have spent tons of money on packs that have many inside pockets to organize but i found no need for them. i did buy also the singi 48 which has more space for organizing and will be perfect for a 2 day trip holding all my essentials

thanks for your quick review, do you know where these bags are made ? Take care !
@gagetman69jeffhebert324 жыл бұрын
Örnsköldsvik, Sweden. That is where the company is based . But many of their products are made in Vietnam and some in China . I purchased mine from a store in the UK and my side pockets from Australia.

I like that you are shooting more outside. The natural lighting and setting is really good. I also like that you have the links in the description. It would be nice if you could label the links just above them to know which one is which. Good tip on the firestarters. I never thought about that. What's your sense of how heavy it becomes if you have both Nalgenes completely full? And, when you don't have it as full, do you think you could get away without the shoulder straps?
@gagetman69jeffhebert324 жыл бұрын
Good point John, next time i will label the links makes sense. I am still learning things but getting better. and still not sure on my GoPro settings still reading up on things. the pack with both bottles full is light other than the weight of the water. but if you packed it lighter i suppose you could go without the shoulder harness. also if you were to use a titanium bottle that would increase the weight loss . Thank you so much for watching . I just got my New Fjallraven Singi 48 pack and side pouches so soon i will do a review and video on it. much bigger back for long hikes and over nighters.

@gagetman69jeffhebert324 жыл бұрын
LOL i bought a book on all the tips and how to's on amazon and have a kindle book . i figured the factory presets would be ok till i read more. But after i got home the next page to read was the preferred settings. and i had to manually adjust some of the presets. And that was the trick . so next video which will be soon should be excellent quality. Smiles live and learn .
