Having the russell day long seat is one of the best purchases I have made. I can ride in that seat all day with no issues. Now I will say 1 thing before you buy it. i have the regular seat, not the sport. if you do long drives with very little stop and go, the regular is great, but if you do more stop and go, I would suggest looking at the sport version, the sport has a less of a pocket that you need to slide out of to stand up. other than that it is all about what material you prefer and stitch pattern. It is expensive, but worth every penny. Make sure to take good pictures of you sitting on it.
@esmaeax565 күн бұрын
@@ericschult1555 OK hell yea that's the feedback I needed to hear, I figure if I'm going to spend money anyway I may as well make it the best it can be. Sounds like regular is the way to go vs sport. Thanks for the reply

Has it improved reception? I'm skeptical this will do much. One issue will be having a good enough ground plane without a ground. Another possible issue is a splitter that merges the same signal from two different sources (OEM antenna and backrest antenna) could end up cancelling each other out if opposite phases, overdriving if in phase, or causing issues if out of phase. I'd go with just one antenna at a time and still skeptical an ungrounded antenna will do better than OEM.

It improved a little. But reception here in the Adirondacks is not the greatest anyway, especially on motorcycle radios. Thanks for stopping by and watching 👍

Great video and beautiful bike. Is this what they mean by "stretched"? It seems longer than some other Road Glides. Im debating switching from Goldwing to Road Glide.
@RoysMotoVenturesАй бұрын
Thank you. This is the Road Glide Limited. I don't know if it is any longer than the regular Road Glides. But I do know that it is an inch taller. My brother has Goldwing. The Goldwing, I think, has a smoother ride. My Road Glide has more rider and passenger space, I think. Both bikes are great. Be a hard choice. My bike is a "21. Now, with the new Road Glide change, don't know much about if the Limited is going to be made anymore. Good luck with whatever you decide, and thanks for stopping by and watching 👍
