In California you have to be a PI to legally use skip tracing software. Like for my PI firm it specifically asks if you hold a valid PI license in certqin states anr tells us thw civil and criminal penalties. Like if I run q background and locate search on someone in TN lexis nexis has my info. So if someone has life lock and finds out we done q search on thwm and they notify them and I dont have a TN PI license then TN can hit me qith a fine of 5k or greater and preforming PI dutiea without being licensed

So my biggest question is in most states it says you must hold a state PI license. Like for me, I can't conduct people searches or locates in let's say texas unless I use a PI in TX. A couple of years back a PI here was charged in GA, CA and IL for locating skips who moved for a buy here car lot so he ended up in jail

Hello David, my friend in Argentina, was moving out to a new house and in the process he started going through boxes that belonged to his mom, who passed away in 2014. He found papers from 3 different trust that (one for her mom and one for each one of her two kids) She opened these account in Miami, Florida, back in 1999. She made a one time contribution for each one of them. Her account was supposed to mature once she turn 65 y/o (she passed away at the age of 60 y/o) and the one for each kid, once they turned 25 y/o (now 36, and 38 y/o). None of the kid (now grown man) had any idea of the existence of these accounts. The bank where the funds where at was First Union National Bank, which merged with Wachovia in 2001. Wachovia was later acquired by Wells Fargo in 2008. I have the contract and certificate for each account but not a specific account number. Called different departments at Wells Fargo, and they weren't able to help me without an account number. I ended up going to the main branch here in Fort Lauderdale where I live, and gave all the paperwork that I had, to the senior Branch manager. He said that he was goin to give it to the research Department, but just received an email saying that they were unable to find anything. He recommended to check on myfloridacfo.com, but nothing came out. Also checked Missing money.com and FLTreasureHunt.gov, but couldn't find anything either. They are from Argentina, they never lived here in the USA, but the mom opened these account for herself and her kids. Any suggestions?

True David. If Bank of America is selling it means that they hold the principal mortgage on it and they come first. Also a title theory state or a non judicial. (First in time, first in line). They recorded this mortgage first. However, tax and HOA liens always override. There also may be a second mortgage and other liens. Most of the time the surplus gets devoured by the bank (mortgage holder).
