I am earning 80K inr in india per month. Is it worth doing master in germany in IT field? What are your thoughts on it
@expatova
@expatova Күн бұрын
I can't give you a straight forward answer bro. What I'd say is doing a masters in Germany is a good option if you want global exposure. It depends on your goals imo. If you're looking for a career abroad, it could be worth it I think. But also think about the costs and if it's the right step for your future plans. Also 80K PM is not a bad deal in India. But, also depends on your experience and market.

Hmm.. Each person's situaion and requirements are different. From the points your mentioned I'll tell you what I feel like compared to my situation. Finances, I am happy with what I earn. But, when I compare my friends earnings in India in the similar fields, I don't see a singnificant difference. I'd give 10/10 for the quality of life. Even though my socual security contributions are way higher, I am quite happy with what I get in return. To the last point, I am bit sad that I can't visit them often. Kerala is around 12 hrs flying from here, and the cost for the flight would be around 3500€+ for my family (3 people), and I only see this increasing year by year. Hope you get an idea.

You can get a dog sized grave for your cremated remains on the cheap but it's limited to a few years until another one takes your place. Your best bet is to declare yourself Muslim and get a 140 year guaranteed tombstone and grave on the cheap in Bosnia Hercegovina, also skip the cremation altogether. They respect their dead.

Please also ask at the nearest police station or federal police station to the possible place of loss. In Germany, the Federal Police is responsible for railway stations and airports. By the way: large public festivals or events often also have their own lost property office.

If the item found is of value, the finder is legally entitled to a finder's fee. The finder's fee is 5 per cent of the value of the find if it is worth up to 500 euros. For monetary finds, it is 3 per cent from a value of 50 euros. If the material or monetary value exceeds 500 euros, the finder's reward is 3 per cent of the added value, i.e. the amount above this.
@expatova
@expatova 5 күн бұрын
Also note that this has to be paid by the person who lost the item when collecting it, and I think (not very sure) the person who lost the item must pay the fee even if the person who found it did not want to claim it.

@expatova I'm from Canada, and for my American friends, it's cheaper to come here and pay to get treatment as a foreigner than it is to get treatment in their own country, including the cost of a flight here and back. It makes me sad that there are more places like that who don't take care of their people. 73 out of 195 countries have universal healthcare, which makes up 69% of the world population. The US is the only developed country that doesn't, in fact. If you are a citizen of a country that doesn't have it, and it is safe for you to do so, you should try to fight for that right so that everyone can have that same access
