Great video! As a former teacher myself, I can totally relate to these mistakes. It's so important for educators transitioning into new careers to be aware of these pitfalls. Thanks for sharing!

Teachers, interviews outside of education require more than just confidence-you need the right words. My tutorials guide you through the interview process with the vocabulary that employers expect.

Hi Hannah, I have been watching your tanning lotion videos and found you were truly genuine and likeable. However I saw you turned off the comments section on all the videos I was watching. I had a question about a tanning lotion. I have this Atlantic HIM devoted creations dark tanning lotion. Is it to self tan without the sun or is it an aid for tanning better? Its not super precise the information I was given. Anyways, if you have time, lol... oh and how do we guys put lotion on our backs is there a quick hack for this. I am very muscular so I cant reach everywhere without looking like the exorcist lmao. Have a good day!

I genuinely want to leave... I am an ICT teacher in secondary but I am worried that I would struggle to find something else or have to do something worse. I wouldn't mind just working with small groups or something.

Being an art PE or music teacher is not easier or harder than being a classroom teacher. It’s just different and quite frankly we get shot on just as much as you all so I would not list that and I would question I would question your credibility for doing so.

I just met a woman who was pouring liquor samples at a liquor store, who said she was a teacher & about to retire in June 2023. I’ve been thinking about doing a teaching degree. I asked this woman if she’d be happy taking to me on her day off at a Starbucks. I think my honesty freaked her out & well she took my phone number but I’m sure she won’t call. I’m super happy I found this video. It’s very informative & “that” day can keep her liquor in the weekends for her extra bar cash!

Such a great video! I’m thinking of transitioning from teaching into another job position. You mentioned you contacted a job agency that helped you become an investment advisor and that sounds interesting. I can see myself doing that. What agency did you contact and how did you get started? I live in Canada so I just want to know what I can do here to set myself up for success. I hope to hear from you!

Hello Hannah! I am currently moving to Charlotte NC in August with my fiance all the way from Arizona! I am definitely having a lot of anxiety about what to do next and I'm not sure I want to teach in a traditional classroom anymore. I would love to hear your feedback or advice on my next steps in Charlotte. Thank youuuu! 😊

After quitting teaching I eventually became a barber after spending 8 years in the merchant marine as an able bodied seaman lookout/helmsman & deckhand deep sea with the Great Lakes Sailors Union, the the SIU and its affiliate the SMU and also briefly the National Maritime Union, now defunct. If I had problems with parents or kids doing kid’s haircuts I would always either refuse service or even stop the haircut to ask them to leave the shop, and I would always explain myself by stating “I’m a burnt out ghetto high school teacher I don’t take any crap off of either kids or their parents, so just leave and don’t come back.”
