Gah. I never did learn the difference between right leaning mobius and left leaning mobius. I barely know my right hand from my left. And yet, I keep banging my head against the brick wall that is moorish rose.

I have tried to learn this weave for years and finally because of your tutorials, I did it! I can’t thank you enough. I found it very helpful to use polymer clay to keep the chain in place. I put strips of clay down and pressed the chain into it. It helps keep the rings you don’t want from getting in the way, and it washes off pretty easily without damage to the rings.

what size are the stabilizing rings you use for the AR 7 bracelet? are they the same as the ones you use for the clasp, 18g 3/16"? edit: went to your coaster tutorial and got the information there! thank you so much for this tutorial it's so helpful in teaching how to finish it off and fix the edges

I just spent a few weeks obsessing over this weave, thank you so much for posting it! I just finished a tiny stainless steel one with 20g 5/32 inside and 22g 1/8 outside and it's my favorite so far. Hoping to try the recommended macro size soon <3

Good evening Lisa. 🤗I have a question. The first one I made was with (black)EPDM 16swg 5/16" and 18swg 1/4" rings. This one came out great and sold it immediately. Now I have been questioned to make more but with white EPDM. I started to do so, with the same sizes mentioned. But now it look to 'sloppy' and totaly not nice. I tryed the 16G 1/4" rings but that did not work either. What can I do - why is it not working with the white EPDM and 18G 1/4" and how can I make this right? Do you have advice for me?

Is there any way I could modify the design to work with a different core? I have somewhere around 6000 18swg 1/4”ID rings, and a handful of some smaller 18swg rings, and I really want to make this

Thank you but what if you used 16swg 5/16" epdm or 18swg 3/16" epdm outer rings what would the inner core be and how many rows? thank you again.

Lisa, I am a bit confused about the epdm and not using the dark green for the bracelet.

Not sure what I didn't do right, mine did not stager like yours where you had 5 of each color per row, mine were just straight rows of the same color. Still looks pretty cool, but not the same. Any Suggestions for my next one?

I don't understand. When I try to connect the two ends, there's so much force on the inner rings that they start opening and the inner rings pop off. How are you connecting them so easily?
@lisaellis11

It is probably an AR problem with your middle rings. This toy works perfect with core rings from Metal Designz. Rings from some other suppliers don't work very well because they're slightly too small. There are two work around. First, you can remove a row, leaving seven. This will loosen things a lot, sometimes even more than you'd like, so you may need to shorten the length a few rings. Second you can add to the length. It'd take a substantial addition. I don't know exactly, but maybe about a dozen rings more. You'll need to experiment. I hope this helps :)

Hello. This is very cool; I am thinking in my granddaughters. When you said "outer rings" do you mean the color rings? Also please, can you give me an idea about how many rings each color is needed for a bracelet. Thank you for this great tutorial.

to answer my own question NO you can't lol. Far too tight and gets pretty difficult putting on the inner rings. maybe with a different ring size but not with 18swg 1/4 outer and 18swg 5/16 inner
