That subtle improvement better include MPT caps. I still have yet to hear a Klipsch Horn, but as impressive as the La Scala is I believe the reviews on the Horn.

Hi guys, I'm looking to upgrade my amplifier and would love your advice. I currently have a Marantz PM8005 paired with KEF LS50 speakers in a small listening room. While I enjoy the sound, I find the treble a bit bright for my taste. Could you recommend whether the new Cambridge amp would be the best fit for my setup? I'm particularly interested in how the Cambridge will handle treble and overall sound quality in smaller spaces. Thanks for your video!

My dad has one and just set it up but the speeds staying at 33. He's tried adjusting bit the speed stays the same.

Well...nice thing but 600 dollars too expensive..and how crazy is it that a streamer in this price range only has one optical input and the amplifier has two??? The amplifier has no possibility to use banana plugs for the speaker cables. In my eyes the same stuff as the previous series in a new jacket and produced cheaper with a considerable price increase...

For those of you who listen boom boom music , buy a boom boom speaker. The bass from LaScala is at a different level, it's quick, coherent and it kicks you in the nuts!

That description could work for any MC phonostage. You should try again and make a video that actually talks about the difference between a typical MC phono and a transimpedance.

That’s the way I feel about my technics.

I'm very happy that the components in my gear don't resonate in sync. Random resonating will decrease the noise floor by 3 dB. In the past in the Netherlands we had a tv program for young children called "Ti ta tovenaar". Best direct translation: "Ti ta sorcerer". The "product trainer" (a doubtfull job position ) is a kind of fairytale figure.

Even after auditioning 3 separate AVR's, the same ambient sound of the room was still present! That told me the unwanted faint background signal noise I had been experiencing had nothing to do with the actual units. Therefore, my attention changed to the cables. And even then It was only on the third occasion after I finally purchased shielded cables that the noise floor within my small room finally came down to satisfactory levels. Unshielded cables often act as antennas for attracting RF, and the longer the cable, the better the antenna. Probably explains why when I used to disconnect my heights and surrounds within 10 minutes, the faint background signal noise (RF/EMI) within my small room used to disappear/dissipate. The more cables I shield, the quieter my room becomes. In fact, the last group of cables I shielded were my HDMI's, and Lo behold the room became slightly quieter yet again. When friends came around, I used to show them how loud the system goes. Now I prefer to press pause and show them how quiet it goes. None of them gets it, of course 😂

Brian suggested moving up to a Sutherland Phono Amp when I upgraded to my Soundsmith cartridge. These guys have a wealth of knowledge and know their products. They are willing to suggest complimentary components that can take things to the next level, if asked. I think they know their stuff. I have bought speakers, a disk player (one that I had never heard of), phono parts & music. They have been happy to help with questions or setup issues if needed.

Currently have 3 vintage Pioneer `tables (2 restored, with good carts). Just received UHQR Hendrix "Are You Experienced". Pricey, for sure, but quality, packaging, etc. are incredible.

It probably has a heart attack inducing price.
