I didn't know what to expect when the game was announced. How can you incorporate and actively encourage the wit and silliness of Discworld in a game? And they did just that. The actual play of the quickstart with Quinns was full of wonderfully painful puns. The adventure felt true to the spirit of the world. And the rules complemented this rather than get in the way. I agree with you and am now very excited to play the game! Thanks for sharing ypur thoughts.

Hello, it was funny to see your emotions while passing more complex levels close to the end of the campaign And it is not too much levels last in the campaign if you will decide at some time to finish it : ) Good luck, anyway 😊

90's cartoons aren't as "hardcore" as people think they are. Almost all of them (except for the DCAU for some reason) pull punches. Literally.

Gold dragons are good aligned, but theyre more like a lawful-stupid paladin that will constantly berate you for not living up to its standards! What you need is a silver dragon, they love people and really only care about evil if its really bad/harms others on a large scale (wont rat you out for tax evasion or your illegal moonshine still)
@dcbradshaw4 ай бұрын
I certainly hope no 7 year olds have illegal moonshine stills or tax evasion, but I take your point :p

It's funny that in every single game, the enemies could get a glimpse of one of your hairs for one frame and immediately become aware of your presence. But your companions could be strolling around in a bright red uniform and waving a gun in the enemies mouth and they wouldn't notice a thing.

Thank you for actually covering the CRIT Awards, I must admit only learned about it due to the Zionist controversy, but I wanted to look into it because of the actual nominations itself. I think an awards celebration for table top content creators is a great idea, but I'm surprised even you don't know most of these names either. Have you everr heard of the D&D series Thrilling Intent? I'f been following their campaigns for a long time and their production quality is very high, but from what I was told it seems only content creators 2 years or less are being nominated (with the exception for the twitch). Is there a reason for that? Maybe they don't want to keep giving the same rewards to the same content creators every year? Or maybe the Crit Awards aren't actually representative of the greater table top community in general?
@dcbradshaw6 ай бұрын
The nominations themselves are done by the community in a completely open nomination process (and there are very few rules on who can be nominated) They are then they are shortlisted over about a month. I believe there are categorises for both recent and long running games. Honestly the reason I don’t know a lot of the nominees is time. I sadly don’t have time to watch actual plays (which rules out my ability to see a lot of the fantastic nominees so what they do) and similarly don’t get much time to explore third party indie products (but I try my best to take a look at stuff that seems interesting).
