They almost destroyed the Kalamazoo River downstate here in Marshall, Michigan! and many of it's wildlife too! I cannot begin to fathom what would happen if this would happen in the Great Lakes where 90% of Americas fresh water is from! Please sign the petition- we only have a couple more days! Don't let this happen Michigan, America- and the World! Peace. Doug.

saving the forests is not the solution, the solution is decreasing the world population, there is simply too manny people and its increasing far too fast. the international governments should agree to allow free abortions and there should be a large tax for more than one child, eventually the would would repair its self if we left it alone.

Thanks for the reply and for helping prove to me that this was a purely political decision to deny the wolverine plant. I was happy when I learned you weren't elected to the board of directors.

Sad that that's as factual as you've seen. But i'll go with it for a moment, so how would it be a job killer?

The MPSC Chairman's Letter to the Editor documents cost estimates for proposed coal plants around the nation & in Michigan. He then states, "Wolverine's cost estimate of $2,484/kW is significantly out of alignment with current documented costs of constructing new coal-fired baseload plants." This is as factual as I've seen and I'm not seeing any numbers from our co-ops that prove him wrong. The letter was published on June 8 in the Alpena News.

I'm sorry but I forgot that a letter to the editor is solid proof based on fact. Does it explain how it would be a job killer beacuse that is hard to believe, and this clown in the video sure doesn't have any answers. I'm not going to believe something until it has some sort of evidence to back it up. If it is true that it will kill jobs and double electric rates how come no one is putting that evidence out in the open for all to see?

Want to know the facts behind the MPSC study saying that with the coal plant our average residential rate would rise $77/month and be the second highest in the nation? Read the Letter to the Editor by the Chairman of the MPSC. The MPSC info is what we members have been requesting from Wolverine for years! A very good read. Go to Co-op Conversations. Click Get the Facts, then This Just In, Letter.

Excellent! Spot-on message and terrific production values. O loved when she went out of focus. Killer video. But who should people vote for in the other board position?
