@AlexGFPV the whoop was definitely worth it for me, and I'm glad I did it the way I did. @brandon96895 ай бұрын
I started out on the included Emax remote w/ a Tinyhawk freestyle kit. I switched to a Radiomaster Pocket. It costs $20 more and it's like a 300% better radio. Check if it comes with the 18650 batteries. Some do and are priced accordingly, but mine didn't. The top USBC port is used for sims, the bottom can charge the batteries. No external charging required.
@AlexGFPV5 ай бұрын
I had the pocket to start! It is a great controller if you dont want to worry about throwing it in a backpack. The throws are pretty short (the sticks dont move very far), which is fun for freestyle but makes it a little trickier to fly very smooth if you have fast rates. Both controllers work excellent with the simulator - its really a size difference and battery life difference. The pocket gets good battery life, zorro bad. The zorro has longer throws, pocket has short throws. The pocket is small, zorro is a little big with that screen sticking up.

try direct soldering your motors, it is a bigger improvement. I will never go back, I cut the plugs off all motors now. more power, longer flight times. Also, you can make your own 90 degree bt2.0, just cut the posts down until they are maybe 5 to 7mm long, solder wires in at 90 degrees, then cover wires in hot glue or e6000
