People keep talking about introducing wolves, bears, lynx, cave lions etc. to a heavily populated country with rapidly increasing human population. Do they really think it would work well with people, their dogs, cats, horses & farmers with cows, sheep etc.??

As a long time member I have been watching these arctic foxes since they peeked out of the burrow, and to see them eating a playing makes me feel amazing, best of wishes.

seems good but in like 20 years when there numbers explode how will the UK deal with that there is no predators to keep there numbers in check so the bison will be eating everything in sight there will be nothing left to eat the bison will eat it all.

Amazing. You guys have done a great service for your country for trying to bring back something that was lost ages ago: natural life. You surprised me on a few things, particularly the crayfish and the Arctic foxes because for one, I never knew England had crayfish to begin with and you thought about having that unique canid to the British landscape in the near future. Everything else, I did knew about it one way of another. Keep up the good work. Thank you, Wildwood Trust.

Yes, incredible! The natural wonders of life never cease to amaze us. The wonders just keep coming, leaving us in awe and admiration. If the human segment of life could just allow earth to develop naturally, it has all the elements to sustain itself, and yes, thrive. At least, there is a small community committed to making a difference in saving this planet.

Can you imagine the wonders if government spent all those billions on our own country instead of sending it abroad and immigration? Our nature would flourish, our forests would bounce back, our waterways would be clean again, our native animals would thrive....

It'd be less depressing if the reason the mink got here wasn't also really shitty.

The true wild horses are the American mustangs. They are descendents of runaway Spanish horses but they live in a truly wild state

Have you all thought of sending them to northern Canada or Alaska. Same environment as where they are from but a lot safer and more interaction with bears of their own kind.

i hope that these wonderful bears can find a forever home soon, especially after all that travel and being kept moving. good luck with the mission.

That’s wonderful! Rescuing the bears from Ucraine! But there’s a lot of ppl that need to be rescued in Ucraine. Those resources can be used on people, not animals.

What a wonderful project & ambition by these wonderful people. I wish I had a surplus £1,000,000 because it would all be donated to Wildwood. I met Paul, Director General, & had a chat with him over a pint in a pub after a very interesting evening in Pontypool a month ago talking about rewilding in the UK & particularly Wales. Lovely guy & full of passion for this project & future projects. I want to get involved with this as much as possible & promised I would support Wildwood & visit their Devon sanctuary one day. Therefore I'm donating towards this project now & will visit them in Devon next year in the spring/summer to hopefully get up close & personal with all the gorgeous animals they house at the sanctuary, especially the bears. We need more people in the world like this & I take my hat off to them. Amazing, wonderful & passionate people who have so much compassion & love for wildlife & to make the world a better place for them.🤗😘❤
