I tried getting this running on bsnes but it runs WAAAAY too fast. Like at 10x speed. This was before I added the patch. Anyone know how to fix this?

This is absolute madness. I didn't even know it was possible to get a perfect in SoR until today. Having played it in my glory years (aged 6-9) I understand how my skillz were below average but Christ alive I think I tanked about one hit for every two enemies I took down, it's a marvel I ever made it to the end at all.

Me too, fits the length of music tracks which don't repeat in a loop. Like for instance the opening intro and the Star Fox team preparing for launch on Corneria.

Masterpice. Nintendo was easily the best developer/publisher during this era (I know this game is made together with Argonaut). The design of everything is impeccable (graphics, music, level design, pacing). Nintendo was just a level above everybody else in the way everything works and is presented. Everything is so clever and enjoyable all the time in games like Star Fox, F-zero, A Link to the Past and Yoshis Island. Sega, Capcom and Konami were also amazing but this is a level above. Looking forward to Switch 2

It sucks that those characters are locked away for AI only. They should've been able to unlock through any in-game requirements. A bigger roster would give us more variety for VS mode. Still one of the best game on PS1.
