Oh yikes are the hi-hat sounds in the intro literally not stopped in the EXT chart because the left pedals are removed 😱

I really like the beat maps you provided! However how do you play the open high hat (gray notes)? I can remap it to my high hat to open button but the closed button map one disappears so I can’t play the blue note anymore.
@APPROVEDDTXGaming6 күн бұрын
@@feafeafeaify It depends on your drum setup. If your hi-hat input gives a different input when you step the left pedal, you should map each input accordingly. (One while stepping, one without stepping) Or if you want to hit both open and closed notes regardless of the left pedal, you should go to the HH grouping in the config and change to HH-2
gitadora needs more jazz and old school type music.

One thing with this chart is the difficulty of playing this with traditional grip on a drummania cab. The placement of the hi-hat and the high tom (the only rack tom used with the vast majority of jazz and vintage 60s and before kits) makes using traditional grip a lot harder and less ergonomic than how must drummers (in my experience, including myself) would position these pieces. That being said, playing traditional grip is incredibly fun and rewarding to learn and I would recommend any drummania players to learn it as it will help your matched grip technique even if you never actually use it while playing the game

I suppose I should add that I misspoke in a sense when referring to the high tom as the only rack tom used by most players in earlier eras. Technically, it would be the low tom due to the average sizes used. If you use(d) a singular tom, it's most likely the size of what would be called a low tom on a more standard modern kit (13in is a very common size for a low tom or singular rack tom). It is just in the position, more or less depending on the personal preference of the player where the high tom on a modern kit would be at, so that is why I accidently referred to it as the high tom when it is in fact what most drummers today would expect a low tom to sound like (assuming only two rack toms). Another probably way easier way of explaining this would be that the high tom is what was added to modern style drum kits, so these single tom kits when referring to their singular rack tom its not a high tom (in the sense of how its viewed in modern times) its actually a "low" tom as that is what they always have had and never changed, they only added a smaller diameter (usually a 11 or 12 inch) tom aka the high tom. This comment does not really serve any purpose I just suppose I might as well have clarified on this in case anyone ever reads this.
