Having had one of these trucks I can say that one of the best things are that there are so many aftermarket parts available for them. Even down to the basic interior stuff just for replacements

Its easy to fix. Weld and cut on thing like thum. As for the alignment weels. Need to add one on each side. To make 3.

Jack the machine up onto the 'dozer blade to help counterbalance the boom. It'll give you an extra foot's worth of weight at the back.

the 1ZZ-FE engines had huge oil consumption issues.... most likely just forgot to check it for a few hundred miles and it ran dry.

I bought one of the cheap skid steers for myself and it tends to pay for itself compared to renting a unit. Cost me $5000 and up here a skid steer rents for $500/day, which is about 10 days worth of rental before buying one of these at a local auction is cheaper.
