Aperture will lock with mag lock on its own. When I connect aperture to metal gate, no connection. I live in Grand Prairie, anyone can help with sending wire connection to liftmaster control box?

Hi, informative video but how would the wiring scheme work if you are using solar panel to provide power and charge to two 12 v batteries in series. I can only imagine the method you showed cannot work for those with LA 400 but on solar as that would drain the batteries during nights with no supplemental power.

Hey gents, I was finally able to eliminate this noise to almost nothing! It took a bit of work, but here's how: First I ditched that junk, grey cat-5 cable that comes with the kit, and pulled a fresh run of shielded CAT-6a cable. Before I terminated the camera end though, I slipped (5) little FT50-43 (type 43) ferrite rings over the cat-6 cable, about 6-7 inches from the connector. They are super-tight to get on, but they make it. Then I properly terminated the cable with copper foil tape over the peeled-back ground foil shield from the cable, and using with metal-bodied cat-6a connectors. With the old cable, the noise from the camera was an S7 and was ALL OVER 20-10m. Now, it is basically GONE. I can *barely* see it there, but it doesn't even bump the meter, and I can't hear it on SSB. I didn't even have to choke the end that connects to the DVR, which tells me it's the cameras that are the culprit. I got the little type FT50-43 rings from jpmsupply.com. They are .49 each, so buy a bunch. I use 5 per camera cable, packed tightly together, right past the camera connection (on the cat-6a). You might be able to get away without using those, but they make sense being there. Best of luck!

My Reolink 16-ch PoE NVR does the exact same thing! Especially from ~12MHz-20MHz. No WiFi, all ethernet. Stock Ethernet cables (so far). I run a public kiwiSDR with 80m loop and had a really clean spectrum until I installed this RF fire hydrant. The more cams you add, the worse it gets, too. I tried choking the AC power supply cable - 4 turns on an FT240-31 (out of 43s), to no avail. I guess the next step will be trying to choke each Ethernet cable, but I have a sneaking suspicion that isn't gonna do Jack. So far, the only PoE things I've had that didn't crap all over HF were a couple of Cisco 3600 access points with PoE injectors.

Fantastic! What's more amazing is that you can pick up what they're saying with that much noise in the background. I'm old-fashioned when it comes to HAM radio, I still use Google Meet 🙂

I installed a mag lock like this and started having trouble with it, ended up taking the board out and lift master will not warranty it they said you can not use the accessory power is not sufficient, also after looking at wiring instructions it indicated a added power supply????????

Did you purchase the 24V DC transformer? and possible that you can show how you hooked up the wire to the LA Board.

what would be the solution to a magnet lock not engaging and locking after 2 years installation? My lock led is orange on the board when closing.
