I used the stock mounts. It fits right in

You need to use the .28 starter and back plate (the smaller plate) so it fits down on the mount

@@ggwoods5684 it depends what back plate is on the engine. If it’s the big one or the small one. If the back plate is level with the crank case you are good to go. Or you can convert it to a bump box and put a blank plate on the end plate.
