Thank you for this video. I am wondering if it is possible to split the three wires and have a second valve. I have tried this and it doesn’t seem to work. If I disconnect 1 actuator it works again but when I plug both in neither work. I have wired them straight through. Any thoughts?

hm looks fun. Though a tad irresponsible. Already don't like all the noobs without proper training in kitesurfing. Its more fatal in paragliding. You didn't know how to out manouver and a lot of people came flying from that one side. Plus loads of people on the beach. Well, until something happens its all fun and joy.

how did you get your tachometer working with the K series transmission? Super clean build!
@FreakensNLАй бұрын
For my mr2 it was pretty simple; in Europe 92+ models have the electronic speedo so just sent the signal to the dash. Purple wire that runs thru the center console. Hook that up to the speed signal from the transmission. For the rpm you need to change 1 capacitor in the cluster. Same as when you put in a rev5 3sgte engine in an old rev mr2

@FreakensNLАй бұрын
@user-oq3qe9sl9t I understand. You need to first change oud your cluster for a newer version. Newer revisions mr2 have a digital cluster. The mechanical is a headache. So better to change it out.

Did you forgot to upgrade your brakes? Please get some proper pads (Hawk HT10) for the track 😁
@FreakensNL2 ай бұрын
Do you know where to get them in europe? I'm working on installing 330 rotors front and back. To be honest stock brakes are pretty good for my driving style and i mainley do it for the look of the stocks in 18" rims. I like to be light on the brakes. Don't drive for times, just fun.

How much does it cost to do a K-swap on an MR2? Much less a boosted K series? Curious because i’m debating on what to build, this or a 3000 GT VR4
@FreakensNL2 ай бұрын
K swap depends on what a swap cost around you, NL it is 3500 just the swap, mounts from the US 1500. Etc etc. Turboing the K, expensive if done properly. NA k20 In a mr2 is greate fun on the track I would even argue more fun and def more fun to work on and maintain

Thanks for making your video to show your progression! It looks difficult. Hope you’ll spare 3 mins to see my ground view of you amazing guys and your flying machines 🤣👍🏻. I’ve subscribed to you, look forward to seeing your progress! Jackie

Maybe you didn't actually want to ridge soar like the others seen in the video, but you kept flying out of the lift zone, when you just needed to fly parallel to the dunes, instead of flying straight out? Perhaps this was all part of your 'progression' and you tried to stay in the lift zone in subsequent flights?

Yes, was just trying to get a feel for it. first wanted to do some glides Next step was staying in the lift.

how do you make it look so easy to remove valve cap and seperate things when other videos show that you need to count number of clicks then use a spring compressor tool, you didnt do any of that. are you skipping something that youre not showing us, not mentioning tools.
@FreakensNL2 жыл бұрын
Nope, no steps skipped. After new oil you should always re adjust your suspension settings. For changing internals, yes. This is just oil.
@DJayAce4 Жыл бұрын
I believe that is if you're taking everything completely apart in the forks and doing a full service of the forks, which really isn't necessary unless something is wrong and you need to. For a Fork oil change, this is really it. Not many tools required.

I suppose the best way would be to overfill and the use a syringe with a tupe attached the exact right length to remove all the oil above the disired fill line ...I believe it how the pros do it rather than attempting to go off measured amount which will probably not be accurate due to residule oil clinging inside etc...how much difference could that make? idk but what I want to know is would lighter help if the oem forks are sluggish? going from 5 wt down to 2.5? Or mix 2.5 with 5 wt to have 3.7

Always keen to meet others and enjoy a days sliding with friendly strangers, last time there we met a fun bunch and I guided the lot of us round on what I called our 'Mayrhofen Big Wee Day Oot' there is a 6 part video I posted of it, that was Feb'20 and our last time out to Austria as Covid killed '21 for us. If I don't hear from you enjoy your time there, it is a great ski area.
