In terms of Trump's accusations surrounding the abortion thing, Trump was pretty much saying how they'd "have an abortion" on the "ninth month" after the baby was born. He'd even go on to say that the previous governor of West Virginia said they'd "execute the baby after birth". He used this as a way to take a jab at democrats, finally going on to state "But her vice presidential pick says 'abortion in the ninth month is absolutely fine.' Execution after the ninth month, after the baby, is born is okay." The interviewer was pretty much clarifying "Yeah, no, there isn't any state in the country where it's legal to kill a baby nine months after it was born." Part of what Trump was saying was just blatant accusation, which is an accusation that's based off his lack of knowledge of how abortions work. And in terms of Kamala Harris, she is flip-flopping a lot with what she's said prior. Like her views on fracking are completely different than what they were stated to be previous, with her trying to ban it prior. It does definitely seem like she is trying to appeal to both sides to garner more votes. Trump has also said some... wild things, with Haitan immigrants eating the cats and dogs in Springfield, even though the people of Springfield have made it clear how much the Haitan immigrants have actually improved their town, and their work environment. I think Trump and Harris are both off their rocker, although I will say Trump has went full schizo in this interview. No matter who gets elected, we're cooked, I feel. LOL

This is the Dudeliest podcast I've ever witnessed.

There is lots of counter culture, it just lays in different places then it did for you cause we are countering different culture. Every generation says the same about the next cause they don't have the context. Cool podcast all round but need to work on investigating all sides of a topic, better luck next one.

There’s not necessarily a counter culture with the way acceptance towards out groups is continuing to progress going forward, you hit it on the head around 20:30. The reason alternative music is popular now in it of itself is mostly due to social media, and partly because it’s now way more widely accepted to diverge from the mainstream. Even just looking at the streaming numbers of old bands that were considered part of the counter culture like the Cocteau Twins or My Bloody Valentine it’s pretty obvious to see the effect of it. Things that were considered to be counter culture before are now way more in the public conscious compared to before because now business has moved towards appealing to demographics previously left out. Social media is just another marketing tool now and a single trend can go a long way for a business/artist. My account is named after a rapper named Lucki, I found him on SoundCloud in 2016 and for years I would hear people saying he’s alright or he would never be too big. Now he’s one of the people you see consistently getting their songs used as tiktok audios. Ultimately it’s all a matter of time until something that’s niche that you enjoy gets commercialized or used for people to post actual mind rot on social media.

We do have a counter-culture it’s just divided among the two genders, the young male counter culture is going back to more traditional values and family structure, and the young women want to keep pushing the current culture of focus on equity and inclusion, women are always the ones defending the current culture such as lynching in the 50s and today’s culture, where as young men create the culture of tomorrow which will probably be a mix of Christianity and darwinistic derived ideology
