Hi, just wondering how much you were quoted to get bunion surgery at a Public hospital? 40k at private is so crazy😢
@Seeingisntbelieving4 ай бұрын
With private insurance my cost is minimal because I’ve reached my deductible due to therapy(which I love). Dr.’s visit in U.S. was $20 and surgery $100 per foot for the minimal invasive surgery. Mine are worse than hers.

Hi mu feet look like yours all my life. Inherit it from my mom’s family side. I wonder if I’ve actually been feeling uncomfy on my feet all along but I just dunno it. And I jog quite often, wear heels quite often. Would you say your feet pain increased throughout the year til it was unbearable?

Hi! Thank you so so much for this video. Question and story regarding, my bunion is on the right foot and it is also moderate/severe (told by Dr.) and is hereditary (similar to yours) Sandals are my thing so might have to get this surgery done!

After all this suffering icant wear heel again oh wow so what the benift of operation ?if the bain will come again
@ellymoky Жыл бұрын
You can wear heels again! Just be mindful that wearing heels too often or pointy heels may cause it to form again

I though after minimal bunion surgery one could walk immediately .
@ellymoky Жыл бұрын
Yup! I could, really slowly tho. Still had to elevate most of the time to prevent swelling

you did both at the same time?? i was considering doing that because i didn't want to be out of work for too long... but idk how i'd be able to get around. won't even be able to move or drive for a long time.
@ellymoky Жыл бұрын
Yeap, I did both at the same time. You’d have to rest at home and elevate for the first few weeks - but can walk around slowly immediately post op. I started driving after the bandages were removed but still wearing the sandals, bcos the sandals provided enough support when I stepped on the pedals. I think the cost will be very high to do 2 separate ops!
@moondragon05 Жыл бұрын
@@ellymoky really? you could walk immediately after post op?? didn't it hurt a lot? how long before the bandages were removed and you could drive?
@ellymoky Жыл бұрын
@@moondragon05 yeah! I could slowly shuffle my way to the toilet right after surgery without any assistance. It didn’t hurt maybe because I was on painkillers and the bandages and sandals helped to support. Think around 3rd to 4th week mark was when the bandages were removed. But of course everybody’s body and reaction could be different 😊
@moondragon05 Жыл бұрын
@@ellymoky ah i see. prior to the surgery, did you experience joint pain? i feel like i have tendonitis more often because my feet don't land on the ground flush, so it overstrains one side of the knee. i've had my knee joint slip out and had a patellar tendon rupture before. i suspect it has a lot to do with having flat + deformed feet. i'm wondering if you had joint pain before and did the surgery help alleviate that? also when you had deformities did it affect your walking a lot? and after surgery have you had major improvements in walking too??
@jackiec1175 Жыл бұрын
Did you have any problems finding shoes pre-op? I am scheduled for MIBS in a month and was wondering whether you had a comparable issue and whether it resolved post-op?😅

Hi!! I am due for Lapidus bunion ectomy. But I’m scared to do it because of the recovery time. I am a waitress and need to know how long your recovery was that you were able to walk around even with the boot
@ellymoky Жыл бұрын
Hi! I could walk around with the sandals even on the first day. But I was only comfortable to go out after 2 weeks (although Doc recommended to recover at home for longer). All the best for your surgery!

Thank you so much for sharing! I have been struggling with my bunion ever since primary school, and only recently now in my second half of university that I'm considering a surgery option. It's scary to even think about it, but I really want to take a leap of faith to solve this problem like you did. So thankful that I stumbled across your video as it really made me understand the whole procedure a lot more and what to expect, especially since I live in Singapore too :) Thank you so much once again for this

I think the color chart looks deeper than your color actually, but the front of the package looks lighter and brighter than yours... So her hair was probably lighter than yours when you started. Your after color was still really pretty.

Hi hi , I’m about to order from Shopee for this product to do my own hair dye (for the first time by myself!!) can I ask if you will suggest that i order the primer (pre-dye) as well cus my root has grown out so much to about 2inches of really dark original hair color whereas the other half of my hair is in brassie yellow. So should I order the primer as well? Let me know what you think ya? Thanks!

How many boxes of dye did you use? The unevenness could be caused by insufficient amount of hair dye on longer hair, which has happened on me before :( The next time I tried using 2 boxes of dye instead and it turned out waaaay better. You should try!
