Have you found a color line that doesn’t get progressively darker the longer it sits? I want something I can use while I highlight!
@maddiemelts4 ай бұрын
I’ve really only used shades eq so far since it works so well for me! You can always do your foils and then add lowlights in between, or add clear to the formula to prevent it from going too dark :)

Hi! I absolutely love this look! Quick question as I am new to your channel. Is the root color REDKEN color fusion cream with 20 vol? And gloss is shades eq with shades solution? I appreciate you and your channel so much!!

Hi! Thanks so so much :) I’m using redken shades EQ for the roots and the gloss

I absolutely love your work so so beautiful! I would like to recreate this starting from a solid blonde level 10. Did you previously do just roots and toner or is there some dimension? Just trying to decide how to approach this to get the same tone. Hope you see this message. Thank you so much! Much love Angie

Hi, stunning result, congrats!! I just wanna do it at home, by myself because an hairstylist did my hair and i don't like it. So, i have now my hair bleached with balayage (from brown to blonde) and starting from my base how can i mix the bleach (recipe and time) and what type of bleach do you recommend to buy?

Do you rinse the root before applying the global gloss?
@kt94959 ай бұрын
The blend is amazing. I’m always too nervous when I do my own hair to comb through the melt over the highlight. I have very fine hair and it grabs dark and drabs out the blonde.
@maddiemelts7 ай бұрын
Thank you!!! It can be a little scary for sure. I like to leave conditioner in porous hair while doing the root melt. It helps to prevent the ends from grabbing too much! :)

@maddiemelts10 ай бұрын
Nope, I start the timer once I’m done applying, then brush through. Once I’m done brushing through it usually has about 10-15 minutes left ☺️

Happy New Year Maddie! Thank you for a new video. I absolutely love your work and techniques. As a baby hair colourist I am feeling so overwhelmed and confused by the hundreds of thousands of different approaches to colour application I see out there. However the way you work really resonates with me. Your tidy, methodical and organised style of hair colouring is so relaxing to watch and your models look aesthetically pleasing at every step of the process which is so lovely and not the case for so many tutorials I’ve watched. I love the way you explain things and have learnt so much already. Thank you so much! Lastly would you do a lesson or 2 about shades eq formulation in the future? I would love to see that. I look forward to more videos from you soon. Much love, Nicky.

Hi Nicky! Wow, thank you so much for such a kind comment! I’m really happy to hear my videos are helpful and enjoyable to you :) I’ll definitely work on putting something together to share my knowledge on shades eq! <3
