The first blue wave you ride will hook you up forever to it. It’s coincidental that I saw Spandan in Maldives and we went for my first surf lesson together. It was most fun thing I ever did and wish surfing as sport will grow it India in upcoming years. Cheers to all fellow surfers 🏄🏽‍♂️

If you want to keep enjoying surfing in the future, keep the best breaks secret, or only for individuals coming by themselves. Do not bring big groups of beginners on soft tops to good breaks, it will destroy the pleasure and the spirit. As every true surfer knows, surfing is best enjoyed without crowds, and that is something that must be enforced. Too many destinations have been ruined by greed and fashion, and surfing in these places has become a nightmare instead of a dream (I'll take Bali as the best exemple of the worst that you can do to ruin the purpose of surfing due to insane crowds year-round). You have plenty of good waves, enjoy and make sure you don't turn these spots into surf school factories, because once it's overcrowded you'll regret it forever. Remember, tourism isn't sustainable if not handled very strictly, in the end the locals end up with broken dreams/crowds/pollution/high cost of living/etc...Small and low-key, sustainable, with a vision for the future is best. Surf lessons are nice to have, but aren't necessary. You can learn a lot by observing and watching instructional videos on KZbin or elsewhere!

Thanks for the great vid. Well editted, good story telling, definitely one of the better India surf vids out there. I've surfed vizag, puri, and even a couple of my local breaks near Kolkata (digha, mandarmoni). Surfing in India is a special experience, so much scope and never crowded. Surfing will keep growing in India and help boost the rural coastal economies. Thanks for being a part of that.

Wow. I never knew that you could surf in India..yes I am 24 years old and have visited a lot of beaches, watched a lot of movies where people and even penguins go surfing but till date i did not know that you could do that in India also. Wonderful work guys. I hope to join you someday and I hope that India becomes a 'surf destination' for people, tourists and travellers all around the world. Lots of love!
