I can kind of understand your complaints with some levels being designed to make you play patiently. If that's not your thing I guess its just a matter of personal taste. But there are lots of levels you can speed through if you're skilled enough. Overall though I think your attitude is the number one thing holding you back from enjoying it, not the game itself. If you go in expecting an experience that doesn't challenge you in any way and always conforms to your sensibilities you're going to be disappointed every time. Try engaging with the game on its own terms, and find solutions to difficulties you encounter instead of blaming the game and complaining
