Why do the Americans insist on DOCKING THEIR HEAVY HORSE'S TAILS? DON'T THEY KNOW THAT THUS BARBARIC CRUELTY WAS OUTLAWED DECADES AGO?

It's interesting to watch the black horses behind the one who fell. They are quiet, but their heads begin to bib up and down exactly as if they are saying, "Uh oh! Uh oh!" And the bobbing gets more pronounced as time passes. Horses are so expressive. All behaved so well here and did not make the situation worse. Heaps of praise for them and their trainers.

It's no wonder that horse fell over when you look at the obscene way those poor horses are shod with deliberately long toes and weights...Americans are so cruel to showing horses including the Tennessee walking horses....ghouls

What caused the horse to fall? We didn’t see as the person with the video recorder was videoing the far side of the arena.

I’ve always hated that unnecessary junk tied all over them. They could easily make a harness that would get caught/ trip horses a lot less. But anyways, good handling of the horsies :>

I commend these people! They actually know what they are doing and especially the announcer he was very calm and gave clear instructions. I have seen some videos with true idiots such as the saddle bred cart accident where two horses ended up running and it was a whole mess for at least 20 minutes. These people were not that they acted fast and calm and got the horse up quickly and handled the situation amazingly

its amazing to me that the horse that fell didnt panic and the others on the team were so calm and just took it all in stride. they have all been trained so well. the handlers deserve recognition in this situation. they were on top of things for sure.

Question to all of the horse people in the comments, does the horse end up fine most of the time from falls like these? The media has me to believe that any time a horse falls bad it has to be shot.

No! Horses fall down all of the time in the pasture and are totally okay. The concerning thing here is that the horse appeared to fall for no obvious reason... almost like he lost control of his balance or passed out. That is what concerns me here, not the actual fall.

These shows are so dangerous. They have all these horses, humans and equipment in the arena at one time... of course there’s going to be a terrible accident!
