Yeah, not bad but nothing new, a standard triple roller hook does the same job and you can even hook it faster:), however it doesn’t work rigging severne & gaastra..

Lets make your question a serious one: how is this thing made, what are the materials, how were the pulleys developed, who had the idea, what are production quantities, who in the food chain gets what margin, what are competing products and how much do they cost, ... and in the end, you will figure out, that 60€ is the current price for a reason. 😄

My thoughts exactly. For that price I will MAKE myself one as it is very simply and YES there is a patent on it, but I'm only making ONE because I cannot afford 60 euros for such a useful but small piece of equipment. It's highly over priced. ust like GoPro Cameras.

Patrick and AirInside Boards make sense. Not necessarily for the Wind Shops whose aim is to sell MORE..... I still have speedboards made to measure 25 years later (AirInside) that are light stiff and fast as anything else out there. Same with Old AHD Formula NT98 and AirInside slalom boards. Not very many of them around though. If these boards get damaged, they are easily repairable once they dry out ! Unlike foam inside, they do not take on water.

Great video, thank you both! Question: Why you don't use the 175 Backwing instead of 195 for bigger FW, like the 650/750? The 175 is never a topic in BW discussions - why? For whom and which use is it compared to 195?

Supernice video as usual!! Still 2 questions.. 1: Why does Michele use the back footstraps like that? I have seen more pros that do that. 2: still no video on the custom ff black speedfoil board.. is it for sale??

The term for the different wing area methods are 'flat' or 'projected' in paragliding, so I guess the same terminology should apply.

Hi I really like your video I m looking for the settings in detail of the Neil pryde foil EVO sails downhaul because on pwa slalom video i see the top of the sails flapping and at the same time the sails looks like a ballon from the 4 to the last batten I don’t succeed to have such a setting A video would be great I m also using the Z foil and the speed really change with the sail settings and the rake and also the stab schrimbing I would like to get more input from the pro. Also taking into consideration we are very few to practice it s difficult to correct our error when we stay stuck at 30 knots and willing to go above. Thanks 🙏

I think it is not really possible to compare the Patrik wing sizes to the Loke r F4 because they belong to different generations. Loke 2022 (the one used by Michele to win the German Cup -if i'm right-) are "thick" wings but still pretty H/A vs the new current ones and they can also be downsized a bit (meaning it's possible to use the 590 when you now use the Patrik 550) for given wind (I remember his video in which he was surprised to use the 400/6,9 combi to spritz the SV guy...). Only 2 years ago (I think), stuff was not as efficient as it is now and people had not yet figured it out. Off course new foils (coming from all those experiences) are better built, better optimized, and so on...

Can you talk Michelle into creating a video for setting up and tuning a foil board for speed? … what does he set first - foot straps ? then mast base ? What does he look for on the water to tell him what to adjust - even pressure between front and back foot or more front foot pressure? etc. also any tips on sail position (for and aft and to wind ward)for best speeds. Also Harness line length and body position - how much weight on hands on the boom etc Any and all ideas and theory welcome!

Thank you guys! The boom thing is a very interesting one. I'm very interested in figuring if in Patrik boom range there's a large tail end width difference between the 200 and the 210 models. and why Michele's choice is the 200. Also, it would be cool some explaination about the best choice in relation to the conditions/foiler weight. Is it possible/correct to use the very large tail end (210 one) with the 8,5 if you're just avg 80 kg? thx

Finally some decent info on the Rabbit - although too late for me as I already got one 95L Rabbit from you guys :-) I was recently able to try it for the first time in as low as 13 knots and had a lot of fun with a 6.3 sail on it! Got a gust, pumped a tiny little bit and off I went :-) I worried that compared to the 115L I'm used to the 95L would be a challenge for me, but it felt very stable and controllable - calm, as Arnon put it. Can't wait for the next session! How about uploading an action clip where Arnon has fun on this board? All the best for you guys, you help this sport grow!

Nice video, and like on the website no bullshit like some other brands. Some of the claims they make are ridiculous. I've got an AV board, made at the same factory, and the paint doesnt chip as much as others if you are a bit careless with it. I think the video could be improved by looking at the bottom shape in detail, using a straight edge, like Surf Magazine do. The amount of tail rocker, length of planing flat are crucial in a board like this. I find than 2-3mm tail rocker, and a planing flat between the front and rear straps, in their rear most plugs, the best for me. I've had boards with more tail rocker and only about 25cm of planing flat are just too slow.

This podcast is amazing. 1. It was really entertaining to watch 2. Oh boy, the knowledge about gear and how to tune it. It s amazing to listen to Arnon sharing his knowledge and explaining technical stuff like twist of the sail. I am ashamed now that I didn't reach out to him at King of the bay event. It s a pitty, that this video comes on the windlounge chanel, cause less peaple will see it. I would love to see another video with Arnon explaining technical shinanigans with sail tuning like batten tuning, playing with masts, adding/removing camber spacers etc. "You just need to not be a pussy and have balls" 😂 love it
