did they changed to older buses now for the silver line?? and why are they no longer using the brt platform at Northwest Tc?
@elginwavehtx2 ай бұрын
Yep since they're shorter and ridership was low If the buses were to board at the BRT platform people have to board at the left side of the bus Because buses currently assigned to the line do not have left-sided doors they will stop at the north platform

HEADS UP! I may have to videotape this ride again because of complaints about the operator honking the horn very often.
@trevorjameson32132 ай бұрын
Man that train is slow. And all the noisy announcements constantly. Blowing the horn too much too. Great video, good to what it's like there, but DART is so much better, very fast 60+ mph, and no announcements except the name of each station, and "doors open to the right (or left)". Also DART runs on railroad right of way not streets. That train in the video is more like a streetcar.

Palm center is the end going northbound but why do the tracks look like they continue? Considering this is an electric train maybe the overhead power line was only built till palm center even though the tracks go farther? Palm center just seems like a weird place to terminate the line they should extend to hobby and terminate there.

Why they never put barricades on the west end of tracks for purple and green lines? People shouldnt be driving on it! They think safety is #1 priority! But thats not safe! Anything they do isnt safe!

Trains blow their horn at every crossing it’s for safety. Maybe though you are right that the warning honks could be shorter and the long honks should specifically be reserved for when they see danger.

Well trains need to honk for safety, Houstonian drivers are not always the brightest. They could do shorter warning honks I suppose and only save the long honks for dangerous situations.
