Not taking anything away from Able One because he ran a great race. But frankly, had Cityscape or Dubawi Gold either one been as well drawn and able to box seat on the rail right behind the pace the way Able One did, they would've run off with the race. Both horses were drawn in the Sha Tin river. Cityscape drawn PP #12 of 14 and Dubawi Gold PP#14 of 14. Cityscape was stuck out 4 wide the entire way and Dubawi Gold equally as wide following Cityscape through. Along with Xtension, they were both closing on Able One like a shot with every stride even with both covering much more ground than the winner had to.

If you were to Europeanise this form…. He’s won the Triple Crown followed by a 2nd in the Arc. Then come back at 4 to run 2nd in the Juddmonte before winning the Arc. It’s like Nijinsky came back and won the Arc at 4 Great stuff The Japanese treating racing with the respect and tradition it deserves and appears lacking elsewhere

A very good horse and a well deserved win Japan and Broome never in the hunt. Not sure why you’d send horses like that to run in this race. Great racetrack I think the uphill finish gives every horse a chance to make its run

What If they made a spin off mini series with afro passing on but having a son at some point, and he’s entire journey is about family lineage and how he’s doesn’t have to fall in line with his Family predecessors, and basically makes it his soul job to destroy the head bands to break the cycle, and then “the ghost of afro” comes to haunt him and “teach” him how devoted his dad was to this, just to later find out it was afro droid the whole time.

This is the hottest racing anywhere in the world. The best thing about Japanese racing is that the best horses race each other most of the time. They don’t avoid each other or hide in weak races to pick up easy prizes and the depth is usually very strong

He's not real it's just Afro's hallucination. Justice only "saw" him because he had a very good insight on Afro's inner feelings.

I think Justice saw Afro's behavior and knew he was sort of projecting. Just listening to Afro's voice and cries of pain in this scene make me think that Ninja Ninja was just afro talking to himself. Afro sounds a lot more like Ninja Ninja does, to me, so all of those scenes with him were Afro talking to himself. That's my interpretation anyways. That would make it easy enough for Justice here to tell that Afro was putting his thoughts and feelings into an alter ego of some kind to detach himself from his instinct to run and give up.

2:20 I love the fact that, while gauging the droid's movements, it's the droid that reaches for it's sword first. I almost feel like Afro really didn't think it was going to attack him. It's funny that a droid that can imitate his every move is the first to draw and Afro is the one who imitated it, instead.

Okay, so I know Ninja Ninja isn't supposed to be an actual person traveling with afro. My question is this: Is he a figment of Afro's imagination; a split personality to cope with all the stress, pain, and isolation? OR is he a Japanese spirit or demon that has shackled himself to Afro; helping in his own weird way to help Afro regain the headband and potenrially end this chaotic system before it destroys everything?
