Why do you use the trimmer with the blade up instead of down? Does it crate a harsher line? Thanks in advance. Sorry I’m learning to cut hair.

Yes. It digs in when blade is down .. good for a line up but not when making guidelines.

Stuck with Oster from Barber/Cosmetology School over 30+ years ago and only recently added Andis Masters and Wahl 5 Star(with the movie 'SOUL' graphic on).
