At 73 this August I remember these shows, the puppetry so marvelous, nostalgic.

@ 36, I first saw TB when 12-15. Been a fan since first watching. The attention to detail and superb special effects, one of my favorite things is when the show goes into real time and plays out with much effect building tension and you feel the pressure as the timer counts down to FUBAR. lol fcking love it! The use of real hands when able is such a subtle and funny effect. Just adds to the realism and magic that these show's story lines present.

I have to say I'm always impressed with painstaking attention to detail for the dolls and the sets. The stories are good too.

The craftsmanship that went into making this is unbelievable. They rival today's standards.

Lets be honest, the acting is a little stiff, its not news this show leaned heavily on the sts and vehicles...which are so rad. Can you imagine working with the team building all this?

I know this is probably answered in the show itself, but why is it so imperative that the Thunderbird vehicles remain secret? Also at 6:12-6:20 Scott erased footage from hard working reporters just doing their jobs, why doesn't Ned Cook just call the cops?

You know, according to the characters backstory, Scott was actually a decorated Air Force pilot before he IR came about. In that context it actually makes sense that he is essentially quarterbacking Virgil during the missile attack and telling him exactly what to do to try and evade the incoming attacks.

This has been my favorite episode of Thunderbirds because of the FireFlash
