Is it still a pig to start when hot? I’m on my 3rd WR250f and they have all been a nightmare to start even with a mega battery on.

Does it flame out like most four strokes in technical? How much does it weigh? How much impact does the reciprocating mass have on its tight trail handling? How often do valves need to be checked? It is great that some of the physical dimensions were mentioned and led to an improvement in the handling, but what about all the other important factors?

Why all the gumbies buy the 450 more than not , crazy choice for most riders
@turbostyler9 сағат бұрын
I bought the 450 because I wanted to tractor up hills. I rode a mates 250 and it did have decent power, it didn't have the tractor like torque.
@loopeyshooter5038 сағат бұрын
Because we ride to have fun! And 450s are more fun than 250s. Nothing exceeds like excess. 450s last longer because your not revving the snot out of it the whole time looking for power that isn't there swell. Your probably just a little fella that's why you like the 2fiddy.

Interesting comment near the end of the review about a Tenere 900. Perhaps Yamaha have something in the pipeline.. should put the CP3 inline triple as a option

If you have ever ridden a 400 ktm or any 400 dirt bike, you know its a magic best of both worlds bike. They do everything really well. I had a built xr400 that was an absolute blast. Heavy but fun. The ktm was much better though.

Wr you just tell ya slower trail riding mate KYB my man they work , just back the clickers out from stock settings and lounge chair probably better than a Mushy WP that Will need a fix when you get faster. Cracker bike the WR absolute stock for stock eats that Husky for breakfast. Aussie conditions are quick riding conditions , why have six gears with a open cartridge WP fork when you can have closed chamber SSS KYB the best stock
@motozz825817 күн бұрын
Ones actually nearly ready to race but that's not its marketing for marketing slogan lol. Mushy is the euro engine and suspension the man touched up . Yep Brembo boils easy even on downhills haha seen it all. Andy cant help himself and his marketing contracts , just a sold out man Transmoto event funding too.

Hey, stop telling the manufacturer to raise their prices. I bought a 2024 200rr and I think I paid plenty. Unfortunately only 3 hours on it and then needed shoulder surgery ( not due to dirt bike ). Recovery from surgery is slow so hoping to ride summer 2025. Enjoy hearing your opinions; but appears none of your guys are 200 fans.

The previous model (24) also had a 38mm carb and a lighter crank than the enduro. Sounds like the chassis and suspension is a big improvement though.

With a strap and any of those trees, you can use that kickstand lift (without touching the tree with the bike.) I saw this in another video.

And I’m the second! Whoo hoo I had the pleasure of attending a BETA demo day earlier this year. Coming from the big Japanese brands for the last 20 years, BETA has an incredible line up that is leaps above all other brands! The next bike I will buy will be a BETA!

forks are way too hard for rocks and roots, I have tried hitting stuff slower, faster, nup too firm and apparently the mid valve is too stiff. Might be ok if you work out 6 days a week otherwise it just beats you up. Everywhere else is good, flow, downhill, jumps, whoops and all the other usual stuff you get on a trail

Listening to you say the price of the race should be 3 grand more than it is already, makes me question the truth of your content. How dare you tell a manufacturer they could charge way more and then make a video like you’re trying to help us viewers GTFO you’ve SOLD OUT. We all see who you’re in bed with and it’s the bike companies not your viewers.

I wish they would fix the front fork. It's truly awful! I don't know how they could make a fork too harsh, and too soft at the same time. I rode one in Arizona on some very rocky terrain, and it just absolutely beat the shit out of my wrists! Harsh on the small stuff, hard to keep on line, and yet wallowing all over the place. They need to do something about it.
@Superdisco199Ай бұрын
@@twowheelsdown2002 bad frame.... you gotta make the suspension too soft to try and offset the harsh frame, but you end up with worst of both worlds.
@twowheelsdown2002Ай бұрын
@@Superdisco199 Some of it might be the frame, but I still think most is the fork. My 2003 KLX300 fork was way better. That shouldn't be the case on a bike 20 years newer. It deflected off rocks and had me steering all over the place trying to correct my line. Very frustrating.
@Superdisco199Ай бұрын
@twowheelsdown2002 usually the wallowing is the fork and harshness is frame. You can run mx fork settings on a good frame and still won't wreck you on rocks. That's why the kyb are overkill on the beta RE as it's already too stiff, so they gut the valving and you end up with a premium fork that wallow... same on the sherco.
@twowheelsdown2002Ай бұрын
@@Superdisco199 I think part of the problem was the compression damping. Low speed compression was low making it wallow, and high speed compression was high making it deflect off sharp hits. Just a really unbalanced mix.
@Mockle07Ай бұрын
Jesus lads, it’s bad enough with manufacturers hiking prices up nearly every year and crazy Austrian brand prices… don’t tell them they should be charging MORE for something! WHEN THE 22 Racing models came out everyone (myself included) was saying the fork valving was way too hard, even for fast lads, where are they at now? I always regard the 2020 Sherco range as having the best stock suspension I have tried - plush but supportive straight out of the crate, are Beta there?
