It's made for airsoft Glocks, which are typically a bit wider than real Glocks with a slightly different ejection port location. That's why it's both wobbly and hard to release the ALS at the same time.

So, the important question. What hobby was most and least expensive between rc cars, fishing, guns, bonsai trees and the tanks tingy you're currently doing?
@bassnbonsai
@bassnbonsai 12 күн бұрын
Honestly the way I was doing it Bonsai Trees is the least expensive... Reef tanks probably next and then fishing due to just how you have to spend gas money traveling and baits wearing out but shooting with the cost of ammo is probably the most expensive per hour or actually participating in said activity... I mean you can be thinking about and planning whichever hobbies you're into but with reef tank you're sitting and enjoying the tank sort of like watching a movie.. you can look for hours at times and just a few minutes a day maybe.. fishing you're gonna spend some money but you can literally go out from sun up to sun down and be having fun.. shooting honestly Is about an hour or maybe a few.. bonsai can be several hours of styling... RC racing is cool and fun... My son is up in Omaha right now at a pretty big race but you literally get about 30 minutes of runtime on any given race night or normal race day unless it's a bigger event and you'll spend a lot of time a and money to get that track time .. I honestly can't pick a favorite but if I was rich I would definitely have a bass boat and be traveling the country chasing after big Bass with bfs gear and swim baits

The other piece of maintenance I screwed up was to top off with fresh water. It's crazy but I have abouts 1 to 2 gallons of evaporation per day. So my 4 gallons topf off tank did nothing. I actually bought a ibc tank to get that all automated. But, big mistake , I didn't finish that project. It can be a pita to topoff all the time.

@@wilsonline90 wow that is a lot.. and yes salt creep also comes into play sometimes... I look at is as I want a cool looking reef tank that I can keep clownfish and anemones in . I don't want to be a marine biologist... I try to solve everything with mechanical or natural things like filter floss live rock biological media water changes and cuc... The less chemicals I have to add the better... I have been trying to add kalkwasser ànd all for reef along with np bacto balance but thinking about stopping all of that..
@wilsonline90
@wilsonline90 12 күн бұрын
I had that same Hanna salinity meter. Great equipment very practical! But it may be good to keep a water bottle with saltwater mixed at 35 ppt. And I find it better to have the readings on ppt, bc that gives you another decimal. I mean, right after you calibre it with their original solution, you can just mix some saltwater st 35 ppt and save that on a water bottle or a soda bottle (2l). Much cheaper than keep buying that original calibration solution. Just keep in mind you have to bring the temperature of the water to around 77F (25C).

Hey, dude. You gotta be real careful with this reef thing. I messed up my financial situation with this addiction. Lol but seriously, take it easy. And though it may go with low maintenance, you have to keep an eye on it and not let things go south. I skipped cleaning the glass for a month. I was installing an irrigation system and getting grass going. All this after work so I didn't see the tank for a while. Lost 90% of the corals, pretty much all the acros died. And after that I lost the motivation. I tried twice, but wasn't able to come back. Taking things down now. Just saying, watch out not to go crazy lop and don't slak on maintenance. Good luck with the reefs.

You might try getting your lower parts from p80 think they might fit dagger frame but might have different thicknesses. They do have three holes on front rail so might not be same slot.

So around the 4 minute mark ,with the front frame sagging ,mine was doing the samething and it bugged the shit out of me and all I did was took a hair blow dryer on low and warmed that front end by the front of trigger guard and put pressure on it and held it for a minute or 2 and now it's perfect .

You remind me of my firearms instructor back in the late nineties. I asked him one time how many firearms he owned? He replied that he would never tell But he admitted to me in an exact quote "It's a terrible affliction". 😊 You got the bug sir, it's easy to slip down that rabbit hole, I'm close to the edge myself 😅.

Those mag release springs are tight on the dagger. I like to pull them out when I get a new frame and thin the rod out a bit with a dremel. Just a little. It makes the mag release a lot easier to press. Glad you showed how to get out even the smallest bits like that.

I do like direction the Lew's reels are headed but my favorite is still the Daiwa zillion for reels and carbon lite rods for affordable or Megabass rods for my favorite overall.. @bassnbonsai I did get a super destroyer and then I picked up a blade because of how much you liked it and I do thinknit is an amazing rod. I put a new 2024 steez on it and boy is it light. @bassnbonsai
@bassnbonsai 19 күн бұрын
@@leviberg6479 yeah they're definitely not worth that much more and in my opinion the zillion actually palms better on the Megabass rods.. I still have the 3 steez limited and one of the zillions I shouldn't have sold the one to my cousin... I'm thinking I'll sell 2 of the Steez reels and buy 2 more zillions at some point.. when I do get back into it I plan on getting that new lews reel that's fairly decent in price.. their 2 high end reels are over priced in my opinion..
