One of the most beautiful concerts which I have attended. I closed my eyes while he was playing and saw, with my mind's eye, fields of wheat swaying in the sunshine on a beautiful, warm afternoon. This is such a stunningly beautiful creation that its first notes make me feel weak in the knees and nearly faint. Not just relaxing ...thrilling!

Here are the pieces George plays in the video: 1. “Colors” (also called “Colors/Dance”) by George Winston (0:00-11:17) 2. “Tamarack Pines” by George Winston (11:18-16:14) 1. is from Winston’s album Autumn. 2. is from his album Forest.

I The Bogus Brothers! Believe it or not they got back together and played the Erie County Fair back in about 1994…

I listened to the "Autumn" album A LOT during some dark days in my life in the '80s, and lived in Buffalo for a few years before I first heard this album. This performance resonates with me beyond words, and thank you for sharing it!

I feel the same way John...for many reasons. Like you, it started in the 80s. Rather bittersweet but, in the end, very good. Thanks for sharing.

I’m so glad you liked it my friend. What I didn’t know is he is an amazing guitarist as well. I was quite surprised when he took a guitar out and played so beautifully. An unbelievably well rounded musician!

OMG yes definitely go to a concert if you have the chance! He is incredible. What makes it so good is that his venues tend to be on the smaller side so the shows are much more intimate. He connects with the crowd and it is really laid back. You also get to hear him play guitar as well as piano!

@@GreggSansone He does connect with the audience as you say. I saw him in a small theatre in Encinitas, CA. I was about 8 rows back and after a song he looked right at me for a moment and said, 'thanks man' as I clapped. Been a G Winston fan since the early nineties and also a pianist myself. Have some time now and I'm learning his music on piano. He's one of a kind. His music is a style all it's own.
