I was SO happy to see Eden Espinosa finish this list. For years I have been referencing that specific performance as the proof she is the best overall acting/vocal Elphaba EVER. If you watch the rest of that No Good Deed performance every moment of her emotional journey is gut-wrenching and captivating. She truly brings Elphaba's pain and fierce-some will to life. Her vocal placement is pure perfection, the grit she adds to her timbre, the way she perfectly uses dynamics to accompany the emotional story-telling. With her final "again" she completely encapsulates the desperation and hopelessness in the way she wail's into the note and yet she still somehow finds a way to use gorgeous technique and breath support.

Honestly Danna Paola's belt blows me away, but I will always and forever be a Rachel Tucker and Shoshana Bean stan. Sho delivering that performance when she was that sick is just incredible.

you have issues…idina has vocal damage and is not the best just cause she is the original- this does not make her bad, but she is no where NEAR the best she’s one of the worst to vocally play the role.

Rachel Tucker is the best. All of them were good but Rachel really acts and you can feel all the emotions while she is singing. She is a queen.
