Stumbled upon this while trying to find the song that the newpaper man from "Sergeant York" was singing as he rode his donkey to town. It's the same! and I'm so glad I found it! I kept finding the other variant songs "froggy went a courtin'", but the wikipedia page mentioned this other variant of "king kong kitchie-kitchie ki-me-o" which is the same words that the guy from Sergeant York was singing.
