So angry... Honestly, for living in a major city, that's not bad. My apartment experience (Toronto) - I got my own bedroom, and shared a kitchen and bathroom barely bigger than yours with 2 other people, for slightly more money than you're paying for this place (since I'm imagining $700 USD). Oh, and no AC, usually lots of flies in Aug-Sept. So to get the exact same amount of total space for the same price and not have to share with anyone? I'd take that in a heartbeat!

I was part of a group of 6 new JET ALTs to my BOE. Ages were 22, 22, 23, 25, 31, and 36. Pretty sure I saw older people as t the Tokyo orientation

That's so funny cuz we guessed how much it did cost with the alcohol. And mizuki was right it was 7000 yen or so. I guessed 6500. Without the alcohol it would have been 4500 I guess ?

That bed is not a futon, futon means it can fold into a sofa to sit and then open to sleep.
