I found it sad too because tiktok wasnt just a app, people were able to express themselves, chat, make videos, and enjoy the app. People said tiktok is only getting banned off appstore, but what if they cant update it? there would be bugs and the app would slowly stop working. The proposed ban is because it's said that China controls Tik Tok. They have access to all of our personal information, and it can be used against us later. It's much bigger than us. The government just wants it to be in the hands of the U.S. Hopefully, it works out.
