Yep it gets pretty dizzying. People fall all the time in dance class...well maybe not all the time, but it happens to everyone at some point. Just sucks when it does.

@toujoursetoiles I do ballet in Canada and I am taught by a Hungarian teacher who is fluent in Hungarian, English, and French. She knows the human anatomy from the toes to the head. And she's a crazy strict, no funny business teacher, who knows every single ballet exercise from grade 1 to however many grades there are (I've only been in ballet for three years. xD) Your teacher doesn't need to be European/Russian/Cuban to be a "good teacher." Just saying....

seriously people, most ballet teachers know what they're doing. It depends on the type of studio as to what the dancers look like. I go to a rec. studio and I've seen my instructor dance and she is just as good as any russian teacher, but she runs her studio with an attitude of "i'm going to try my best to teach you proper technique but my number one goal is to get you to love what you're doing, not do it perfectly". Don't take out what a dancer looks like on the teacher.

Hey common I take ballet and ballerinas may look nice on stage but go to a class and then watch! I mean I'm doing my first lyrical solo this year and I've fell at every class so far so shut that big whole in your face! I hate haters!
