I like Vivek as he is a straight talker... he has changed his mind along the way on a few things but maybe that's part of becoming a politician and where he has changed his mind he has provided the reasons. I particularly like the idea of devolving the Education department down to the State level where it should be - I see little constructive contribution from the Federal Education Department. Not sure about the FBI etc - but as dismantling the Ed. Dpet. would be a huge job maybe we 'begin at the beginning". Other general ideas he has I generally agree with.

We have had decades of the Repub/Dem good cop bad cop routine and kicking all the problems down the road. Why do you think we are still talking about the same problems as we were 30 years ago? Go ahead and elect another career politician so we can talk about this all over again in four years. How about stable currency, reduce dependency on China, right-size the federal government, secure our borders, care for the mentally ill, incentivize family formation and education, increase GDP from 1% to ~4%, make available school choice options, secure energy future with nuclear energy and Manhattan Project style development of fusion using renewables where viable, cut excessive regulation, implement zero-based budgeting, and end fruitless foreign entanglements. Vivek may not be perfect, but he's the only one talking about addressing our longstanding problems and the only one who has the best shot at actually accomplishing most of it.
