I roll down on Pride avenue All the names remind me of you Took a hot highway to the sea And I fold me down in the leaves Caught a soft low melody Had a light feel in my soul And no plan what to come Turn my face away from the sun As the city lights come on Man wanna stand up Man wanna count in I'm running come find me, come find me Man wanna stand up Man wanna count in I'm running come find me, come find me Come find me I know well it ain't easy in here City fill young soul with fear That a true love might never come Got to feel low that it ain't done Long as light come into my eyes Long as air come down in my lungs I'm standing up I'm counting in I'm running come find me, come find me I'm standing up I'm counting in I'm running come find me, come find me I'm all alone I'm open now I'm running come find me, come find me Come find me I'm an open door out here swaying I been looking around for me Any letter that ain't been written Any band that need a singer Any sweet that needs saving Any weather I'm out here waiting I'm standing up I'm counting in I'm running, come find me, come find me I'm standing up I'm counting in I'm running come find me come find me I'm all alone I'm open up I'm running come find me come find me Come find me Come find me Come find me

Just found Mick Flannery and wow. What a song writer. This song stirred up something deep inside me. Amazing performance by Susan O´Neill too!

Beautiful song Mick. Might be my favorite yet since its so relatable and true in todays society. See you in Galway next time your in town 😉

I've seen Mick 5 times or so. He's a massively under appreciated artist/singer/songwriter/performer. Last time I saw him I had the pleasure of seeing Susan O'Neill too and to say her voice was breathtaking would be an understatement.

Thanks Mick and Susan. Trouble's message resonates deep within me. Discovered Mick a while back when I was preparing to write a song that I wanted to call Fack Off World...but I Googled it to see if someone else had written one called that. I was shocked at how closely it mirrored some of the content | was thinking about. I know music changes things, people, society, adds connection, joy, etc, I just wish it could bring it to more people, deeper, faster. If only we could see change in the way of the Vaughn brothers, Tick Tock song.

Rich velvety folk/country/Americana that just gives me warm Rick Danko & Emmylou Harris vibes (a pair of heavyweights I would also pay anything to hear them cover this - so I'll just imagine it in Rick's raspy later life unique tone). Beautiful! ❤!

Nice song, thanks for reminding me to listen to more by Jeffrey, from my home town.

I love this. Heard it on the radio today. I must admit I wasn’t that interested in Mick when I first heard him as the tone was too close to the well known American singer he was often compared to, but this is his own voice, shaped by a real lovelorn heart. Well done on a fine achievement

I can't believe I'm just finding this, been a fan of Flannery since before the pandemic but I'm only just finding about this collab and the album, you guys matched your voices beautifully, not to speak of the lyrics of the whole album.
