Hey Luke.....Thanks. Yes, check out the club, I don't know a lot about it, but it seems like a great bunch of guys doing fun stuff. The regen record was with a Yomega HyperWarp wing yo-yo. I set/broke it a few times over the years, but always used one of those models. They flip and regen so well, and the bearing makes it so there is not much wear on the string to prevent it from breaking. (Although it did break at the finger knot when I set it the first time at Lucky's BBQ. The yo-yo smashed into the ground and broke into pieces!)

Hey. Not really able to do DNA with the frostbite. I have seen some people "kind of" get it....but without the finger spin cups, it doesn't really work well. If you are interested in DNA, check my website if you want to see a couple of yo-yos that do have the cups for that trick.

Is the frostbite a responsive yoyo?

@@SayMu-v9e it depends on what bearing you have inside the yo-yo. When you buy it from me, it comes with a narrow bearing and is responsive, but if you purchased the wide bearing, and installed it, then it is a non-responsive or friction free yo-yo that needs to have a bind to get returned.

Also does the kind of string for my yoyo make my yoyo become not responsive?

@Th3rEaLBuCk3tH3aD14 The string does not really make a yo-yo not responsive, that is the bearings job! A string can come into play if a yo-yo is becoming responsive and you do not want it to be....but that is a whole different problem then what you are asking about. Good luck!

Then why isn’t my yoyo responsive?

@Th3rEaLBuCk3tH3aD14 So many possibilities.....do you have a responsive bearing in it? Is that bearing lubricated properly? Is your yo-yo spinning fast enough to respond when you tug? Are you tugging properly? And if all that is correct, it should come back on a tug. Most often people buy a yo-yo that is designed to be Non-Responsive, and can't get it back because they do not know how to bind!

The wide gap Yo-Yos do NOT loop well, so I don’t recommend using them if you are wanting to learn consistent loops.
