Excellent interview - 🎉 I’d love to see the producer’s game album come to life! 😅

Great interview! Erica is such a wonderful human. Following her career is such a joy, both because of the music she creates and because of the talented artists she introduces us to: Devon Cole, Fefe Dobson, Zoë McMillan, Cindë, Who Is Vi, Good Grief, Bryn, Zoë McMillan, Tompa, J.K. Matthews, and so many more. *Okay, I've gotta play this Producer Game too!* _The Band:_ Jennifer Batten on guitar Lee Rose on violin (Toronto artist) Jordan Rudess on keyboard Les Claypool on bass Danny Carey on drums Lunar Bloom (Toronto folk trio) on vocals Elizabeth Zharoff on vocals Produced by Tompa (soundsbytompa) Written/Co-written at a Good Grief Retreats event And maybe... just maybe... Bill Fisher on vocals too. _The Theme:_ Outer space journey from dystopia-to-utopia With that group and theme, _they_ can pick the studio and location 🤘🤘

Eliza's drumming on "Edge of the Earth" is deceptively complex. The lefty downbeat comes out of nowhere.
@mc768 ай бұрын
Eliza matriculated at the Ringo Starr Academy of Drumming. She is not flashy, cluttering songs with gratuitous fills, but she is a human metronome who tailors her drumming to each song, rarely replicating her riffs, including subtle nuances (the double tom hit on "Desdemona," the lefty snare strike on "Edge of the Earth," the unexpected triplet on "T-Shirt") that come out of nowhere and delight.

Great, solid drummer. Reminds me of Denni Carmassi from Montrose - drives the band without clogging up the pipes…

The Beaches are a great band with a great stage presence. I saw them at Area 506 and I remember locking eyes with Jordan and freaking out. A person I was with luckily was able to get a photo of it. They are my favorite band.

I've spent many a late, drunken night at the Townehouse (and underneath the Townehouse), both as an audience member and on stage. Some of the best times I've ever had were in there. I've also known him as a man who's never been afraid to roll up his sleeves and get shit done. Thanks for everything, Paul.
