I also just thought of this idea , I was manually breaking a tire I had forgot to remove the valve stem on so It didn't wanna go till I did, realized it had a vacuum and had this idea. Thanks for saving me trouble lol

That isn’t a cathode ray tube. A CRT generates an actual electron beam, not just plasma art. Pretty cool though 😉

So the bike is reliable, but this is a recall. What did they do about your stator ? I mean technically? I am in Egypt, and I came to this point of replacing a failed stator and need to know the details so as not to "fry" the new one as well.

it would be neat to see someone code a small program that assigns each energy bin a frequency in the audio spectrum so that the "tone" of radioactive sources could be heard directly. it would likely necessitate discarding a certain fraction of all pulses in order to avoid overloading the ear, but different isotopic sources would almost certainly be differentiable based on sound alone.

Yeah probably just a tiny bit more. Some houses have more inside if they have radon in the basement.
