Lotta dumb comments from city people that have never been around a draft logging job. Nice little video, thanks!
@DrJohn4932 жыл бұрын
I grew around and on working horses. My dad would have beat my ass if I didn't groom it, feed it and bed it after a long day of work. So don't always assume city people are commenting.
@Bret42072 жыл бұрын
@@DrJohn493 They're in the middle of the day, not at the end of the day. You have no clue what care the animals get. They aren't unfed and considering spring weather and shedding out, plus mud, pitch, etc. I wouldn't say they are "ungroomed". All it takes is rubbing up against some tree trunks or going through mud and water to look about like that.

Don’t keep your horses too clean do ya bud? Wonder if ya even brushed em down under the touch points of the tack. Doubtful. Lazy.

Talk about rabbit hole. I am subbed to Ewan Dobson, an amazing guitar player. He has 'New Brunswick' as his location in his uploads. I clicked on the location, and this was the first vid that popped up. Great video, and I really love the music, so I looked up the song, and it's absolutely perfect. Now I can't stop listening to Boards of Canada. What a wild ride. Have a great day.

To make things interesting, I'll also add that I got here by subscribing to Evan Dobson's channel :-) And I am from Poland. Beautiful lands in this New Brunswick. I was interested in Siberia so far, but due to the current political situation, my eyes are looking more to Canada. However, Canada is rather not in my reach.

What is with that stupid cart,strange.
@raphmaster232 жыл бұрын
It's a cradle hitch, if used correctly you can get the front end of the log off the ground to keep it from digging Into the dirt to help make it easier for horses to pull.

I did not realise there was Norway spruce in Canada... don’t you have enough native conifers that are well adapted to the growing conditions?
@MrSaltycreek4 жыл бұрын
I believe it was brought in years ago because it was resistant to a bug or worm that was around here years ago. Unfortunately it's not very good wood for building materials, its very weak

@Everythingthatmoves8 жыл бұрын
Rest assured working is what those horses are breed for and they really love to work, I also doubt they are out every day and they dont look skinny so dont worry they appear to be taken care of very well.

47FarmallM not so dude...when a horse stumbles to his front knees on level ground, it’s tired. And his coat is dirty and matted, showing a lack of care on the owner’s part.
