I'm a 63 year-old woman, and I play 76 daily with a group of friends, all ages, all races, all countries. There are a ton of really cool people in this community, and if you're new, this is my recommendations. Ask for help and advice, but don't be greedy. Players like us who have been in-game since day one know where things are, and how to do stuff, and we love to share. We also are happy to take you places. When logging on, be sure to get that Atom Shop free item or items every day. In game, you have lots to do. Daily and weekly challenges, events, raids, exploring, building camps, or even just hanging out with friends and trading things, or just being silly. You might have personal goals, like a specific weapon or armor, and friends can help you do the challenges or quests to get what you're looking for. Everyone should always check the red Free boxes at all train stations. We all use them as "take/give" exchanges. You can drop excess loot for someone else, or pick up a couple things you might need. If you join an event, don't start it right away. There's always a countdown, and we often will wait most of that time to get other players into the event and to give everyone a chance to open lunchboxes, take chems, or get into their power armor! If you find yourself short on materials, there are lots of places you can farm for them. here's a couple: -The road leading up to RobCo has a bunch of broken robots lying about. You can area loot these for a large amount of random junk. -Across the street, at the General's Steakhouse, you have Super Mutants, Floaters, and vegetables you can farm. -Nuka-World is a great place to grab a bunch of different free Nuka-Cola flavors, and at The New Gleaming Depths raids area is a place you can pick up a lot of excess materials, like serums, chems, ammo, junk and other stuff that players have dropped randomly. There's SO much more I could share, but then it'd turn into a book!

If you're laden down with scrap, weapons and armour after events look for other players survival tents so you can scrap your junk and any unwanted weapons or armour. They're far lighter as crafting materials than before you broke them down and you may lose enough weight to fast travel out of there. Also don't do "Scorched Earth" unless you have a hazmat suit or a full set of power armour, the rads will destroy you otherwise

Another good video. The only thing I would add is to read what mutation is involved in the event as the type of mutation may require you to change your weapon or play style. Some will require melee weapons to finish enemies while others can reflect damage back to the player, so area of effect weapons would be more useful etc. Regardless thanks for the video and take care.

My own opinion, but it's a good value. I know people that pay $7 a DAY for a cup of coffee or an extra $10 for food to their door. This isn't the first game I've paid a subscription for.

Love Fallout 76 play almost everyday! Imo, it's definitely worth having! Imo, it's overpriced at 100bucks! Should be like 50bucks.yeah, you get atoms & other stuff, as someone who's dropped 100bucks last few years I just feel is overpriced! Fix their FN servers! Add NEW stuff, skins pre fans,camp items bro it's the same stuff over and over! It's definitely worth having!!

You have next to nothing in your ammo and stash boxes, i dont think you use them all the time.

Its like a subscription to unlock the full features of the game a way for the devs to make money even tho i hate the company id rather play than not to play becuse i like the fallout games becuse of the powersuit and the apocalypse setting...

I play the game like someone with issues. I pick up stuff and i collect soda. Shoot stuff? Level? Ya sure thats ok but I would rather be putting typewritters in my pocket. As such i NEED the scrapbox.

I wish they would just let us buy the Scrap and Ammo Box without 1st. It would be pretty much the only reason for me to get 1st

Two notes: The Fallout 1st survival tents have variants available in the Atomic Shop. The one I use has the weapons work bench and the tinker's workbench. So, weapon repair and ammo creation. The second note is that I found so many lore items while in Private Adventure Mode compared to Public Adventure mode. In public mode, Flatwoods was always trashed and picked over, while the "clean" version had what the developers wanted you to see. (I did not know about the guy in the frig until Private mode.) There are many other places like this example.

Ive had FO1st for years now. I never had the need to use PACK RATS or ballistic Ammo reduction cards. The 1600 atoms a month alone is your return on investment And correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the total atoms you get in the whole year is equivalent to over $100. It's a win-win for dedicated Fallout 76 players. Let's be real. Many of us have spent more money on things that mattered less. For example, between cigars and booze, I'm spending between $300 and $400 a month 😲

I have to say 1 thing i don't see a lot of people basing their decision on is the fact that if compared to most games now its all a money grab for a season pass but not only do they apparently give you the option to pay for just the season pass with atoms but by having the fallout first sub u get about the equivalent in game currency and the season pass and all the convenience of having first with the boxes and then the price for the sub is affordable. I have no other subs to any other game just tv that i don't even use because i play 76 more but i get about as much use from that if not more then i do from having youtube premium but don't get half the value they give you back for it. I dont buy any in game currency in any game ever never have except for a skin for a character for my son in DBD but to get the currency and basically get the season pass and added stash scrap and ammo with the saving time to travel it couldn't be more worth it. I hate the bugs that are better now but even then it's still a good game and a good deal.

Even once it’s worth it just grind tf out the game hard there’s key spots you could server hop and get fat resources with minimal effort, I’ve had the game like a year after release and aluminum is the #1 resource I don’t have

Being able to drop a tent anywhere and have an unlimited stash is basically essential for end game. You’ll spend a lot of time doing junk runs otherwise. For early leveling not so much. I dislike locking an unlimited junk stash behind a monthly sub.

Solid video. I would add to always join a team when you log in, try every event but let the more experienced players start them, visit other player's camps frequently to check out what they have for sale, don't worry about dying as we all do it a lot when we start, and just have fun. Agreed. If you buy it yearly it averages out to around .28 per day which is definitely worth it for me in just avoiding the carry weight and stash box aggravation. Private world is actually nice for hunting holiday scorched (when it works) and treasure hunters also. Thanks for the video and take care.

Nice video and welcome back. As a filthy casual, only lvl 600, I'd recommend you check your perk cards, armor and weapon mods. Looks like you're a full health build so secret service overeaters and for weapons I'd recommend quad or AP for that railway but opinions vary; decent railway reward for the quest chain you're in btw. In public I keep running into players from probably beta. I tell them to come bk, there's so much since years ago. I had one guy shocked I play (am 55) and he asked me my level..1100+. I told him the game is so much better than when it went live. Mentioned ghoul characters were coming. He freaked then his friend walked up and said yea man, I told you already.

Check your perk cards. They're in the middle of a major revamp of the entire system and your build is probably broken.

I'm getting back into 76 for the incoming ghoul update. I don't think the game is great. It's certainly improving but it's not great.

Just got back in a few days ago as well. It has been a wild ride so far. The perk cards are so nice. You will want to check your perks first thing coming back.

I really love the game so far, and as a semi profesional valorant player i think i can see myself playing it more than valorant. Its really unique and just a great game so far.

There's some stuff to work on for sure but the core mechanic and lack of ults feels really fresh and well balanced imo. I was sold on duality when i was able to quickly switch between bodies holding the same site entrance and get consecutive kills because of it. Feels incredible. I think everyone should at the very least try it out and decide for themselves.

I see the potential and would like them to add it. I'd like to see the high skilled dodging, knife/sword combos with parry, multi kill plays on KZbin. I hope they add wall hugging and or the ability to move the camera to different sides

I wish LIbrarian was a playable class, be great if they add them!
