On the remote Norwegian Bear Island, used as a submarine base by the Germans during World War II, U.N. scientist Larsen sends a distress signal using an emergency N.A.T.O. frequency, and is received by scientific vessel Morning Rose.

I have different opinions about this. She was a kid…still pouty, still hardheaded…She made a bad choice. Yes. She got into porn. Yes. She chose to snort that coke. Yes. She lost Cory at the beginning. He dodged a lot of hurt and pain. I just feel her mom could’ve been a LITTLE more supportive and open to her moving out to CA. She should’ve went down there with her, helped her get settled. Find a place and a job. Shown a little more love. She hated her daughters profession, but after all that’s her daughter, she needed to sit and talk to her about it. That friend of hers, Nora, wasn’t a friend. She seen her going down a road and didn’t try to intervene but seemed to encourage it. Mel seemed to be a good guy, but in the end, he was her supplier, he really had no right get mad at her. If anything, he should’ve talked her into rehab, he had the power to talk her into everything else… Poor girl…poor family.

The shattered life of too many young girls in the seventies ..and They were numerous to go to L.A or hollywood , believing They would be Famous , models and even actors. Thousands maybe. Even if all of them didnt commit suicide and returned home . Sad fate of shawna grant the Real character. She was young , lovely but too naïve. Surrounded by Bad people , scum who took advantage of her.. and as She was rebel and stubborn , She left her family. 😢😢 Rip shauna ..Dont be too hard judging her.. At that time it was the Dream of many ladies from the country..

When you wanna be hard headed and smart mouth the devil will hand you your own head on a platter. If you don’t listen to God, you’re going to listen to the devil, No in between. She listened to those evil ppl when they told her to do things with no resistance, but resisted every piece of advice good ppl that loved her gave to her. That’s a recipe that will always lead to destruction and death. This is so sad.

I have met a few "adult" actors and actresses. I was shocked at how genuine they are. Some are very intelligent, humble, and yes, sometimes even shy. Still, I felt really bad for some of them. There was one who was past her "prime," probably 40, who was the sweetest, most generous person I've ever met. It broke my heart that she was still in the "business" because of a bottom-feeder husband.🤨 He didn't work and treated her like he was her pimp. He was atrocious, and she deserved so much better. She told me in confidence that her dream had always been to be a teacher. Sadly, she couldn't have children. I learned a lot from her as far as not being judgemental. She didn't use drugs, didn't use profanity, and dressed more modest than any "normal" actress. I tried to tell her how worthy she was to have a happy life, but her love for this bum blinded her.😢 He moved her away, so I never saw her again. Maybe by a miracle, she will read this. You never know.🤷♀️ What I would like to tell her is that she can still have her dreams and that she is worth so much more than the life chosen for her. All young ladies are.❤🙏☮️

This was a good movie worth watching if your into true crime movies. Love Melissa Gilbert, her smile hasn't changed a bit from when she was a little girl and starred in Little House on the Prairie. I have read some comments saying the movie is too blurry to watch, I didn't have that problem, but if you do I suggest you go to the KZbin screen and play around with the Quality Settings. It is located next to the CC label, and looks like a little gear.

It's a sad 😢 story 😞.. A individual can have a modest, decent family upbringing ❤ and at some point, stays true still within no matter the wrongful paths taken... she, The prodigal daughter returned to her roots. When 18, you have to let your children fly out of the nest, knowing the tragedy of ordeal that'll happen by bad choices and people. All a parent can do is intercede prayers 🙏🏾 and pray for their other children 😔 to not follow. Too do better, still loving the one who didn't 😢 she was stubborn and couldn't wait, she wanted fame and fortune fast ... Too fast, and it came with C4 results 😮 Cory wasn't bad, he had convictions, he knew it was just going to get worse. Even the people, like the photographer, tried to steer her right, the man in the Mansion,a drug dealer, he knew he's time was coming. Her friend, a washed up drug addict, porn star, make-up artist 😮 😢

Side note; there's quite a few scenes that for whatever reason have been skipped over/cut out in this particular upload by this channel. Some important scenes I might add. The quality of this upload is definitely better than the others on KZbin...so it's a shame it's been uploaded incomplete. Bur regardless....great movie!

The real Colleen Applegate/Shauna Grant was absolutely STUNNIMG. Especially all dolled up, yet had naturally beautiful face as well. Her story has always stuck with me since I first learned of her 20+ years ago. I've watched this movie at least 30 times over the years. Also, the show Frontline (PBS) did a story on Colleen that is is great as well. Watched that several times as well.

Doesn't anyone get it that you are not helping to tell children that the parent or loved one that is killed or died is NOT, watching over them ,they couldn 't protect themsleves so how can they watch over you????? I was7 when my dad passed ,I am glad my mom and our ministers showed me the truth from God's word the Bible Ecclesiastes 9 :5 Psalms 146:4 From that I understood about the rest of life and the value of telling the truth.

Im the eldest in my family. My mom's fave was my younger sister, my dad's favourite was my youngest brother. I felt left out my entire childhood. Though I felt resentment, I would never resort to killing either of my siblings or my parents just for money. Only a greedy monster does that!!! Hope he fries in hell!!!! RIP family 😭💔💔💔💔

Her actual name was not "Pauleen Anderson", it was Colleen Applegate, she appeared in over 30 adult films, earning up to $100,000 The coke was the biggest problem, if it burned a hole inside her nose causing nose bleeds, one can imagine what it was doing further in and in her lungs! The modelling agencies and photographers no longer wanted her once she started doing the adult films, because no company wanting their products being modelled in ads, magazines and commercials would want their products associated with adult films, just imagine if Kelloggs found their new cereal commercial girl was recognized all over the place as having been in adult films. So she basically sealed her fate away from any magazine ads, commercials and basic modelling to having to resort only to adult films, and once her face was no longer new and "fresh" her calls would slow down and stop, especilly as she got older, so that was a dead end kind of career. She made over $100,000 What cost $100,000 in 1984 would cost $297,847 in 2023, so if we go by to-day, she had about $300,000, blew it all and was broke, down to 2 suitcases and the clothes she had.
