Great video! That explains the specs on my garmin GT52 for clearvu saying 2°x50° on 455hz. Like your point to turn left or right

Fishing and football are definitely 2 amazing activities in fall, its great to get up and go fishing on the weekend when you can come home and watch college or nfl.

I know this is an older video, but another fall bait that sometimes gets overlooked is a fluke. Especially if you can roll up on them when they are schooling.

Hi. From 6.00, you mention straight lines occur on MFD if stationary. I don’t quite understand because the ping is still being sent out and received in by the transducer. So, why do straight occur in this scenario? Cameron
@Camh196828 күн бұрын
Thanks for efforts on this. I am still learning this technology and use 2 x Evo3S (275LHW and constant 25 degree cone angle in H) I still have trouble interpreting the visual relationship between the constantly moving bottom /structure profile observed on the MFD and what is actually physically existing on the bottom as I move along…. For example, I go forward in a straight line at a very slow speed (in saltwater) and trace the bottom structure well… However, what is the 2D sonar image (of bottom structure) really telling me that is supposed to represent the moving 3D cone of coverage at say 20m depth and high chirp (or 200KHz) - which is always behind me and in the past by default? I do understand that 99% of the 2D sonar image is historical at any point in time… Any assistance would be appreciated… Cameron

Pete, Loved your opening statement about banning/Kicking people off the podcast, Plain and Simple Great to hear. Is the NPFL bringing back the co-angler?

I had the Bata test deep dive app. Then they launched and have had the deep dive ever since.

He is right there is nothing for viewers to watch with ffs. If everyone is doing the same thing it ain’t interesting. Haven’t watched any bass or mlf in two years. I will be following npfl.

They link to phyx tv from their website. Free and paid options. Paid option lets you select which angler you want to watch

I appreciate someone having the courage to make the first stand. Well done guys Seems like the NPFL is the real deal
@thomasebsen88212 ай бұрын
The bass fishing circuits have to find your niche. The Npfl has found theirs. Money is a concern from sponsors. Without Hummingbird,Garmin,and Lowrance it's going to be tough! This circuit won't last!' Ffs and all sonars are the same,ffs helps you find fish faster that's all , it doesn't make fish bite, Period! Good luck.

Did he ever say WHY he banned it? He sounds like Kamala Harris...word salad.
@fishingusa20512 ай бұрын
Well hopefully BASS will allow ffs with no restrictions. MFL ffs with restrictions and NPFL with no FFS. 🤦. I’ll just watch the Garmin Guru so I can learn to use the 20 grand I just dropped in electronics.
@arnoldlueders75002 ай бұрын
@@fishingusa2051 There are 2 types of people on the water. There are actual fishermen and then there are you electronic guys that might catch more than me, but at least I did not cheat to do it. Why don't you just drain the lake and walk over and grab a 10 lb bass. It is the same thing. It is called FISHING for a reason. The hunt is all part of it. Understanding conditions, fish movement, moon cycles, atmospheric pressure and whatnot. It should not be all about staring at a screen all day

Don’t agree with the ban …but it’s a genius business decision. I’m an old guy bass nerd and derb fisherman. The live needs work … any insights on how you’re going to improve the live production? Respect
@arnoldlueders75002 ай бұрын
Why would anyone be against a ban on live scope? It is NOT fishing. Fishing is about knowledge and the hunt. A regular fish finder helps you get to the areas that fish are around, but fishing is NOT about being a computer tech. If you are literally looking at fish, it is too easy to catch them. Fishing should be about understanding fish, patterns, etc. It not only is ruining fishing but it is starting to over fish lakes. In the past, if 5 guys live on a lake and they would catch 5 fish, that is 25 a day. With live scope they now each catch 10 fish, that is 50 fish. You will see more and more lakes being over fished. Why would any angler want that?
@liswayli43243 ай бұрын
Bass fishing comes down to skill… u might not catch as many fish in the Sabine but if u can get on them it’s a real showcase of skill unlike throwing into lake fork for 4 days to pull out the inevitable 7 pounder
