I love doing solos to learn these things. If you can do it solo, you can probably bring any guardians with you. You're awesome. I do really like a challenge however.. I play most games on the hardest, or second hardest diffs

Unfortunate bug for sure. You said you had purchased a car but the ones in your inventory are quest based. Give that suggestion a try and purchase one of the cheap cars from the online store. For whatever reason, it's possible the game isn't registering that you actually own a car besides your default one.

About chain, if skill is single target like 'essence drain', so after chain it bounces once. but does that support gem reduce initial hit dmg also -50%, or just those bounces? (is it 100%+50% dmg or 50%+50%? ?

i believe its every hit reduced by 50%. The description says skills deal 50% less damage with hits which im assuming means ALL hits, otherwise i think it'd be clarified like with the Pierce support gem where it explains that the initial dmg is unaffected but the following targets after the first pierce is reduced dmg. So since it says less damage with hits instead of less damage with chains, i think its all hits have reduced dmg. Obviously i could be wrong but thats what i think 🙃
