That's not quite correct - we make Dulux and Dulux Trade paint, neither are watered down 👍

Just a small thing I would like to add which I learnt the hard way from not doing it. Remove the paste that ended up on the ceiling from when you cut the top length of each piece to size because if it dries you might need to repaint the full ceiling, unless when touching up your white emulsion matches perfectly.

I used it in the past but know the product is rubbish I used It in kitchen and after even 4 code of paint still no coverage at all. Absolutely rubbish. I should used other company. I spend twice the money. I used kitchen and bath paint they not cheap 2.5 £27.99

Can't b that good to stick the paper to the ceiling before cutting Why not paste up tobthe ceiling cut trim off Even if you clean it off the paste will still flash n grin through paint fact Not that great considering this is dulux

This is the best vinyl matt on the market again now the last formula change in 2015 was shocking but this new one is more like was pre 2015 changing a light colour with a light or medium can get away with one coat no other vinyl matt will do that

What about an area in the ceiling where a 4x6" hole has been repaired with plasterboard and easyfil has been sanded flat. Can you paint directly onto easyfil and what would you recommend?

Hey, thank you for your message. You can treat mould with a mould killer such as our Polycell Mould Killer, and then repaint the walls with a emulsion that contains a mould inhibitor - such as our Dulux Easycare Bathroom paint. The reason it’s going off is because your brushing a big flat door use a medium pile two fussy blokes roller it will look like it’s been sprayed and use crown fastflow products

What is the difference between vinyl Matt and diamond Matt? Do they have a different finish ?

Vinyl matt is not as durable as Diamond Matt, and cannot be wiped down and cleaned to the degree that Diamond Matt can. They have a similar, matt finish.

Retail paints are produced to help DIY users achieve a better finish. The trade range is designed for professionals, who use the paint day in and day out. There is nothing to say that a DIY user cannot purchase and use trade paint, but they may find it trickier to apply.
