We’ve recently discovered this list here is almost all metabolic. It’s why diets like keto and carnivore reverses almost all the listed symptoms as people are testifying to. Nothing is perfect for everyone but we are also learning his b12 deficiency wasn’t correct it’s more along the lines of magnesium.

You can never say to someone “I know what you are going through”. No one except you really understands and knows how you are feeling. You can however say “I have some personal experience of this”. This is empathetic and is factual. It’s also shows a greater understanding. It’s more of an open statement. Many thanks.

If you have more than one type, then one may not be reversible and if you have several problems causing different kinds of Neuropathy, seems it would be very hard to determine the difference and how to treat them. Right?

Where in Texas can this old Army veteran with “Central Pain” (which is chronic) get into a water exercise program. I am a believer, but I haven’t found a place that offers this. I live in Corpus Christie. I have had a variety of head and neck (upper and lower spine too) injuries that I think caught up with me about 20 years ago. I have been “fighting back” to better health and found a warmish pool was amazing. I am in whole body constant pain at different and varying intensities.

I have idiopathic neuropathy, diagnosed by a neurologist. I have excruciating pain with trouble sleeping since it gets much worse when I'm lying down. I'm taking 200 mg of Gabapentin pretty much each evening. I see an acupuncturist about twice per month. That's all the time she can give me due to a very busy practice (in Eugene, OR). It does help each time, but the effect has not been cumulative yet. I took 2 hyperbaric treatments but did not notice any effect, so I have not tried again. I have followed the whole food, plant-based no salt, no oil, no sugar plan (WFPBSOS) for years but I'm not 100%. I do it because my cholesterol is at 325 - 345. I do this diet for my heart (see Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn's work). My downfall is crackers to snack on in the evening. They contain both salt and oil. I kept a food diary and found out that tomatoes, eggplant, salt, and oil, or any kind of fat at all, causes pain to flare up to a high degree. If I stay away from these things, I have NO PAIN! I just take Gabapentin and/or ibuprofen when I have eaten these culprits. My diet separates me from people. My friends no longer invite me because of my diet. I have no family in Oregon. I have tried so many things including energy medicine modalities. I've spent a lot of money. I go to Planet Fitness 3x per week and use the weight machines. I use my ellipse machine at home sporadically. I exercise my feet and toes each night and I massage them regularly. Thank you so very much for this video. I now have more motivation to step up the exercise and stop eating gluten.

Great vid. I wonder if any research is being done on this problem. The anguish and pain due to the neuropathy has been debilitating. Personally, I have been helped by eliminating sugar and lowering carbs in my diet, stretching my feet by placing a towel about my upper foot and pulling toward my trunk, walking when able, and taking the supplements which are highlighted in other YT vids, alpha lipoic acid, B-complex vitamins, Vit-C, and ashwagandha. It has taken 6 months of this regime, but my PN has improved, although has not gone away. I am still taking the prescribed medicine, gabapentin. No OTC pain reliever seems to offer comfort. One last thing, I soak my feet in warm to hot water with magnesium sulfate dissolved therein. I have to test the water with my hands since my feet still cannot discern water temperature. But after 6 months, the stabbing electric pains at night are diminished and my balance has improved. If anyone can offer any other suggestions, please let me know.

Thank you for leaning on the side of a more natural approach. This was right down my ally. Canadian osteopathy I’ve had great success with the pain. Feeling it may be a pinched nerve?? Will also look at vitamin B12 next as I have mostly a whole foods plant based diet. This just started in October. Hard to sleep and uncomfortable.
