Sail on, sail on, thou fearless bark -- Wherever blows the welcome wind, It cannot lead to scenes more dark, More sad, than those we leave behind. Each smiling billow seems to say, Though death beneath our smile may be, Less cold we are, less false than they, Whose smiling wrecked thy hopes and thee. Sail on, sail on -- through endless space -- Through calm -- through tempest -- stop no more; The stormiest sea's a resting-place To him who leaves such hearts on shore. Or -- if some desert land we meet, Where never yet false-hearted men Profaned a world that else were sweet -- Then rest thee, bark, but not till then.

Steal away, steal away, steal away to Jesus! Steal away, steal away home! I ain't got long to stay here. My Lord, He calls me, He calles me by the thunder! The trumpet sounds within a my soul. I ain't got long to stay here. Steal away, steal away, steal away to Jesus! Steal away, steal away home! I ain't got long to stay here. Green trees are bending. Poor sinner stands a trembling; The trumpet sounds within a my soul, I ain't got long to stay here. Steal away, steal away, steal away to Jesus; Steal away, steal away, I ain't got long to stay here!

Weep you no more, sad fountains; What need you flow so fast? Look how the snowy mountains Heaven’s sun doth gently waste! But my sun’s heavenly eyes View not your weeping, That now lies sleeping, Softly now, softly lies Sleeping. Sleep is a reconciling, A rest that peace begets; Doth not the sun rise smiling When fair at even he sets?

Where'er you walk, cool gales shall fan the glade; Trees, where you sit, shall crowd into a shade. Where'er you tread, the blushing flow'rs shall rise, And all things flourish where'er you turn your eyes.

Sure on this shining night Of starmade shadows round, Kindness must watch for me This side the ground. The late year lies down the north. All is healed, all is health. High summer holds the earth. Hearts all whole. Sure on this shining night I weep for wonder Wandering far alone Of shadows on the stars.

If I swam in wine I would drink most of it and end up vomiting all over it. That would ruin the experience for the next swimmer in the line who would be swimming in at least a percentage of my vomitus.

The Sea by William Dean Howells One sails away to sea, to sea, One stands on the shore and cries; The ship goes down the world, and the light On the sullen water dies. The whispering shell is mute, And after is evil cheer; She shall stand on the shore and cry in vain, Many and many a year. But the stately wide-winged ship Lies wrecked, lies wrecked on the unknown deep; Far under, dead in his coral bed, The lover lies asleep.

In the scented bud of the morning -- O When the windy grass went rippling far I saw my dear one walking slow In the field where the daises are We did not laugh and we did not speak As we wandered happ'ly to and fro; I kissed my dear on either cheek In the bud of the morning -- O! A lark sang up from the breezy land A lark sang down from a cloud afar As she and I went hand in hand In the field where the daisies are

Tis the last rose of summer left blooming alone All her lovely companions are faded and gone No flower of her kindred, no rosebud is nigh To reflect back her blushes and give sigh for sigh I'll not leave thee, thou lone one, to pine on the stem Since the lovely are sleeping, go sleep thou with them Thus kindly I scatter thy leaves o'er the bed Where thy mates of the garden lie scentless and dead
