When visiting the Melbourne zoo with my family the male lion did the same thing even though we weren’t at the enclosure literally every body around stopped in their tracks looking around ,you could feel the tension ,it really gave a sense of raw power I will never forget

Do you know that animals in a zoo is like torture for the animals? A look roaring like that might be calling for other lions to help liberate him. Zoos are businesses run by people, they are not places where these animals choose or like to be. The only good zoos are the ones where they are trying to reserve or rebuild nearly extinct species like some rhinos and some others, but otherwise, they are torture for these animals.
